Phantasy Star Online Universe for Xbox 360 - $49.99

I thought it could be played as a single player game or as a MMORPG online. I'm only basing that on what I heard though. If it's true there will be a monthly fee...

...for the PC and PS2 versions. There are strong rumors that the 360 version will not carry that monthly fee, thanks to using the Live servers instead of Sega's.
 
9.99 a month is way to much for online play

this will end up in the bargain bin just like the XBOX verson of PSO. No one will buy it. Sucks too I like PSO but not for 9.99 a month
 
Well, that complicates things.

PC so I can play with more people, or 360 for voice chat and achievements?

I'm somewhat pissed they decided to do that though. That's a lame move, Sega.
