Nintendo DS Lite Onyx Black - $130 w/ free shipping

Its 130 bucks anywhere. Not sure if amazons free shipping really counts as a deal anymore since you get it on pretty much anything over 25 bucks. It's still tempting for me though since I've been holding out for a black DS lite... but I think can I hold out a bit longer.
 
I would rather pay the sales tax and buy it locally. Although the customer service at amazon.com is excellent, it's still too troublesome and time consuming to exchange an item if you receive a NDS Lite with dead pixels or other minor flaws or your Nintendo DS Lite dies in a few days. Condering what you may save ($10 in sales tax) and the potential risk, I feel it doesn't make too much sense to buy it online at this price.

sure it is, no tax (saves about $10) and no time (most valueable commodity) and gas going to a store.

Not everyone has access to a car or live very far from a store where they could get one. I was just trying to help out.
 
Friendly advice: Ignore all these nay-sayers. They're the ones that are slowly making CAG feel like FW.

But they do have a point - deals typically imply price drops/mistakes/sales. But nice on getting a hold of the onyx. Different colors are probably going to be annoyingly difficult to find as Christmas comes closer
 
Not to sound like a jackass but what happened to this being a Europe exclusive color anyway? Not that I care as much since I'm not exactly happy about the paint job. I would've prefered this to look as sexy as my PSP with a slick paint job.

Under a rock for a month? Black has been out for 2 weeks and was announced 3-4 weeks prior.
 
Not to be a jerk but c'mon. Is it really a deal to get free shipping at a place known to give free shipping? We might as well just make a thread for every single item at amazon then. Xbox 360 @ Amazon w/free shipping. DS in Pink w/free shipping. DS in White w/free shipping. etc.
 
i agree, ignore some of these nay sayers. they probably feel ripped off paying $130 for the white ds lite and doubt their decision. ignore the haters, they belong on FW and SD...DIG IT!
 
I ordered it from Amazon 2 weeks ago, came within 1 week. It is great b/c I have $50 GC from Amazon. So all in all, Free Shipping + No Tax + Triple points (if you use Amazon CC) + Gift Cert = good deal (to me).
