Panasonic Q Gamecube for Sale + Zelda Bonus

Just like the title says. I'm putting my Panasonic Q up for sale*.

Both the Panasonic Q is complete with their original boxes and instructions. Both are in near mint condition, save for dust which has always been cleaned off with a soft cloth.

The Q boots into US game mode by holding down the power button for 2 seconds when turning the Gamecube portion on. The DVD player has been tested with region 1 DVDs.

I've been looking at it lately and I have decided that I do not use the system enough and thought I might offer it up to someone who would enjoy such a beautiful system more than I am currently. CAGers might be "cheap" but they appreciate their games more so I want to offer this here first instead of eBay.

Finally, in lieu of PMs go ahead and make offers in the thread and I'll entertain any that interest me.

*If I accept an offer, buyer pays first. Non-CC Paypal Preferred. Assume shipping + insurance cost of $30 in offer and I will refund any difference on the actual cost. In the event it costs more I'll cover the difference. I prefer USPS, but will ship FedEx or UPS to suit preference of the buyer.

Edit 11/22: Moved the Panasonic Q Gameboy Player to eBay

I'd be interested in seeing the Player as well.

The Wii pretty much makes it obsolete (just like the regular GC), but regardless of how cool the Wii looks, the Q still looks better. At least the Q supports DTS, something neither the GC or Wii does... Does the Wii disc slot even still glow blue?

I guess I'll be the first to go ahead and make an offer for $250. I actually bought a Panasonic Q in really good shape with the box and everything on ebay a few months ago for a little less than $200. When I received it I found out that I could not play U.S. games on the system, and I'm too lazy to hook it up to play the 3 or 4 Japanese Gamecube games I own.

Yep it does US games.

The Q boots into US game mode by holding down the power button for 2 seconds when turning the Gamecube portion on. The DVD player has been tested with region 1 DVDs. Additionally, I have Japan and USA Gameboy player boot discs.

Digital Theatre System, it's a form of surroudn sound that's even better than Dolby Digital 5.1...

hard thing to get... oddly enough the gameboy player for the Q is extremely rare, because it is specially made for it. I can't afford it ...nice set though.

Only selling or would you consider Cash + trades for it?

If so, please CML for stuff you might need (hopefully a lot.)

Are Wavebird receivers compatible with this? It looks like the disc tray might hit them upon being ejected.

Waverbird recievers fit without a problem, its close, but no contact with the tray. Nintendo took that into account when they released the unit.

Offer AWAY!

I'll not be able to afford it, but go ahead and check my list anyway. This would be crazy cool to have next to the Wii. ;)

and of coruse, cash would be in addition to a trade.

Does the Q have component video out capability? I only see standard RCA video out and S-video. Thanks.

I believe the jack on the back accepts the Gamecube component cables, but the DVD player itself is composite only.
