I recently picked up NOLF 2 at the TRU 50% clearance. I played the NOLF 1 demo a while ago, but I heard good things about the series, so I picked up the second one.

Am I going to be lost in the storyline or miss out on some jokes having not played all the first one?
 
might miss some llittle insights but they are both great. But you can pick up NOLF1 for CHEAP I would HIGHLY recommend picking it up (and then play 2) . There are a few control improvements in 2 (so if you played 2 first 1 might seem a bit harder.

Let me know what ya thought of it, it would be one of my top 10 or 20 games of all time.
 
NOLF 2 is such an awesome game. Too bad the sophisticated fps is a dying genre.

I'm still looking for the first part on the cheap too.
 
I beat them both, both are pretty good games. I may pick up another copy of #1 at TRU because it was only like 4$ and it was the fullbox version with soundtrack.

NOLF1 is great. I mean, its funny, it looks pretty good, and great levels (can you say the airplane level?). Good stuff.
 
I finally got NOLF!!

I got the GOTY edition off ebay for $2 brand new. It comes with the extra levels, strategy guide and music cd. Oh yeah!
