Is a geforce4 TI4200 64mb any good?

Depends entirely on the price. Nothing inherently wrong with the product but more cannot be said without a objectives and budget.

Pretty decent upgrade, then. It gets you well into DirectX 8 support (where the cool stuff really kicks in) and a substantially greater polygon rate. If you get a few bucks for the old card or find a good home for it the upgrade will be all the more justified.

day after thanksgiving. IT is a long ways away, but all the next gen cards will be out and you may end up with a really good deal on a 9800 or a 5600/5900

Thanks, i'm not a huge shopper but now that you said after thanksgiving it makes sense, i've got a ti 4200 128mb and I really like it, I can play doom 3 well as well as most high end games, but its not all that great with dx9 I'll definatly hit up best buy on that busy busy day, any other great deals usualy on black friday?

GTA:VC(PC)=10
GBA SP w/ DKC=100

I got more but those were my major purchases. Was totally worth it
