[Backordered] F.E.A.R. (Xbox 360-Asia) $40 at Play-Asia - Confirmed Region Free

you probably paid less than you would have from Play asia and didnt' have to wait either...
 
I tried to order Assassin's Creed Collectors Box Set from Play-Asia and the cheapest shipping method to New Jersey is $15.20 (Economy Air Box) any idea why that is?
 
I'm in idiot I was looking at the shipping prices for F.E.A.R and when I was about to place my order I couldn't understand why I was paying more for Assassin's Creed.. Of course it makes perfect sense because of the weight.. Thanks bro..
 
How long do games usually take to arrive to England from play asia? Sicne I'm thinking about getting Gears of War from there..

I ordered a couple of things from Play-Asia when I was back in blighty, took about 10 days on average I think.

does anyone know how play asia can sell all these games for only 40? do 360 games just not cost muvh in asia since its not that popular, or what??

I don't agree with that. Play Asia has so many more things available for sale (DVDs being one) and their service is excellent.

We make more money in the US so our games is more pricy.
 
Thanks for posting this info, cheapass123! :applause: I had enquired about this another thread, but nobody replied and I'd been keeping my eye on the Play-Asia site to see if they'd confirm region-freeness for this game.

Too bad it's sold out/on back order now. Now I hafta wait for them to replenish their stock. Doh! :bomb:

For some games the box is different. According to the picture on play-asia, for FEAR it's identical (M for Mature). Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Splinter Cell: Double Agent, for example, look different. Other than that they're the same.

so there aren't like any menus that you have to go through to turn everything on English? it just doesn't make sense to me that it would automatically be in English

How silly and immature of you.

The poster clearly said he got it from subscribing to the Play Asia newsletter as do the same as do many others. I dont know why you are so sure CAG is always the sole originating source. This kind of behavior makes me want to think twice before sharing deal info I think can help folks get a better price and counters to the whole idea of sharing info on forum (although i do realize FW is another site).
