You may want to divide the Game Demos as PS3 and just normal demos....Lemmings is basically the D/L game demo. Just my 2 cents....

Good idea.

Didnt really know what to call the downloadable games since they don't have any name like Live Arcade with 360.
 
Any space for downloads available in other regions, or are we keeping it just US?

Like the Hong Kong store that has RR7 demo and 2 Gran Turismo HD videos.

I'd have no problem adding them, it just depends on how many people actually have access to them.

If only. I doubt Sony will have PSP games working on the PS3 until sometime next year, if ever. One of my biggest wishes is that the PSP would get a "tilt sensor" to attatch for us to play games like LocoRolo or Mercury by moving the system to side to side. Would be cool to try the same thing with the PS3's controller.

Anyway I download the Holiday Demo, took about 10 seconds total. You connect the PSP to the USB cable, click on download and it goes. Only weird thing is that it "installed" after it downloaded but that fit into the 10 seconds I mentioned.

Overall, nice and painless. Sure you can grab the demo's online from websites but this was very simple, so I can't wait for them to add new PSP demos. Or even the older ones people might have missed.

Also it might be useful to mention what version you need to run the PS1 games and demos when they come out. The Holiday Demo needs 3.02 I know for sure.
 
Anyone know how Sony's DRM works for sure? Apparently you can authorize up to 5 PSPs, but I've heard nothing as to whether you can deauthorize one (or a PS3) so that a different unit can be authorized.

If anyone knows, that should be in the sticky too.

Everyone can access them. I have downloaded the Ridge Racer demo and Gran Turismo videos. The playable demo is being released on 12/24 but only in Hong Kong.

All you need to do is:
Create a new PS3 user account (another main account).
Create a new PlayStation store ID under Hong Kong (Don't worry, all the text is in English)
Use a different email address and a HONG KONG street address
Log in and download from the Hong Kong PS store.

You can access the downloaded content from either PlayStation user account. You will just need the "Hong Kong" account to be able to access the store to download them in the first place.
 
I've done this but only downloaded free stuff. Don't know if i'd want to use my CC. Also, are they in english? Ridge Racer was.
 
Sony really needs to get more demos up to D/L or anything new. I know they gave us GTHD, but I thought we would have MOST of the games...I wonder what kind of certification they have to go through (like the 360) to get something up for D/L.
 
Flow and Gripshift will be out in January.

Should be more Demos next month for Lair, Heavenly Sword, Bladestorm and Warhawk.
 
Yeah, I'm going to buy flOw the day its up, that game is kickass. Probably Gripshift as well if its reasonably priced, but for now I want Tekken on the US store.

Yep Gripshift is up for $9.99, along with a demo of the game. Also under PS1 downloads, Jumping Flash is now ready for download!
 
Yeh... I thought you couldn't connect because they were updating these new items but I guess it is something else.

There is also a new section, "Thetrical Trailers". Two trailers are in there now, "Blood Diamond", and "The Good German". Both come in SD, HD, and Full HD 1080P formats.

I downloaded the demo as soon as it went up yesterday. It rocks, and I'm probably going to buy the full version. IMO, better than every XBLA by a long shot.
 
yea it's a very interesting game i think.
I never played the original, but it sort of reminds me of the old pc game Rollcage but with crazy out of bounds roaming and semi-flying lol
 
For some reason, it didn't show up right then, but "Unaccompanied Minors" is in the movie trailers section with the same date as the last too (these are not under blu-ray if your looking for them).
