Yeah, it plays it pretty well. But I will be getting the 256MB Mobility Radeon 9800 because my laptop is upgradeable (Did I spell that right?) so I can play it on max. The good thing is that my notebook can handle HL2 (at least on low).

I always use oldass keyboards on my computers.. why they don't make clicky key keyboards anymore is beyond me. Things are indestructible and just feel better than the newer ones.

Thanks! I need to clean up those power wires but I'm fairly happy with it otherwise. My next upgrade will be an XP 3000+ (or 3200+) CPU since my board is so awesome and can handle the speed jump.
What's the sense of the quiet CPU fan when you've got all those case fans? Are they real low RPM case fans or something?
Actually, you'd be surprised how much more quite the PC is with the new PSU (the CPU fan is also "quiet"). The case fans are a necessary evil of high performance PCs unfortunately. The lighted fans are a couple decibles louder than the original "black" ones but that's a sacrifice worth making when you throw in the coolness factor. :D It's not silent by any means but there is a significant drop in "wind whine" with the new PSU and CPU fan.

CompUSA baby. These are pretty popular actually. Would you believe that this very case is what Alienware uses for their "Alien Face" model? I know it sounds crazy but I actually got my hands on a barebones alienware case. Aside from the face plate, the case itself is IDENTICAL! Sweet huh?

I have the same case as you too Daphatty, only in a nice metallic grey to match my monitor.

They do still make them, but they are damn expensive just to manufacture. It costs so much to make them that its just not practical anymore for most.

They bought IBM's keyboard business from Lexmark and still make the old keyboards, but with their prices your better off buying an old, used one since they last forever anyway. You can just take the keys off and put them in the dishwasher... Or put the whole thing in and it'll come out just fine except for the sticker, but I wouldn't recommend it.

It's an Aspire XDreamer II. I have the same one. Link
That's the case my dad has. He got it from NewEgg, too. :)

My PC isn't very powerful but my dad gave it to me once he got his new one in April. If I never had gotten my own computer, I wouldn't have even seen this site.

I have several PC games but the only ones I play are Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, Sim City 3000 Unlimited, and The Sims along with several expansion packs. I like my consoles alot more for playing games.

After that, it'll be either Deus Ex GOTY, The Longest Journey, or SWAT 3 Tactical GOTY, depending on what I'm in the mood for next.
