CNN reporters openly join Kerry campaign.

Scrubking

CAGiversary!
"The conversation and the recruitment of old Clinton hands came amid rising concern among Democrats about the state of Mr. Kerry's campaign and criticism that he had been too slow to respond to attacks on his military record or to engage Mr. Bush on domestic policy. Among the better-known former Clinton aides who are expected to play an increasingly prominent role are James Carville, Paul Begala and Stanley Greenberg, campaign aides said."

Reporters/Analysts Paul Begala and James Carville openly join up with the Kerry campaign yet stay on board with CNN to continue providing their brand of "unbiased" news. They confirmed this on their CNN show 'Crossfire'.

The best part is that the liberal elite media doesn't seem to care even though I am sure if some Fox news reporters openly joined up with Bush all liberal hell would break loose.

But recall embedded reporters with during the war with Iraq couldn't possibly present both sides of the conflict.

I don't think anyone would freak if Sean Hannity joined the GOP. Nobody freaked when Mary Matalin joined the Bush Campaign (though she did quit her media job to do so).

Also, anyone who doesn't know that Begala and Carville are Democrats is an idiot.

It has nothing to do with them being democrats and everything to do with people actively working for a presidential campaign and an "unbiased" news network at the same time.

Wolf Blitzer is a staunch Republican, and was the main news anchor at the Democratic National Convention, and he put a little spin on just about everything with his 'over reporting'.

If I recall, Carville said on CrossFire that he was not officially joining the Kerry campaign.

Either way, CrossFire is set up as an op-ed, so you get both sides of opinions ... meaning bias.

Of course, Carville isn't unbiased. He fucking pulled out the '92 election for Clinton.

What about Bush's first cousin, John Ellis, running the election desk for Fox in 2000?

What about Florida's secretary of state, Katherine Harris, being head of Bush's campaign in Florida? She certified the vote totals in Florida.

What about the maker of the electronic voting machines, Walden O'Dell, saying he is committed to delivering Ohio's electoral votes for Bush?

Carville is a political pundit not a reporter. Sheesh!

In Crossfire, Carville represents the Democratic side, its pretty obvious if you ever watch the show. Just like 99% of Fox News votes for Bush. Thank you Captain Obvious for your quick and thoughtful work.

What about all of those people?

Is it too painful just to conceede that CNN should have some standards of journalistic intergity?

Apparently so.
