Teresa Heinz - what a woman.

What about Dick Cheney saying that "if we make the wrong choice [see: anyone but us], then the danger is that we'll get hit again -- that we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States,"?

Basically, Cheney said that voting for anyone but Bush-Cheney will cause another 9/11 (yes, he never actually came out and said it, but he was trying to plant the seeds of panic in people's minds and everyone knows it).

Is that the kind of rhetoric you're attacking from Teresa Heinz Kerry?

There's a difference between discussing your political views and calling people who don't agree with you idiots, but apparently you don't get it.

No, what I don't get is how calling someone an "idiot" for disagreeing with your viewpoint is somehow worse than accusing them of supporting terrorists for disagreeing with your viewpoint.

No, Dick Cheney didn't say 'fuck you', he said "GO FUK YOURSELF!"

And don't forget Laura Bush, guilty of the intentional vehicular manslaugher of her boyfreind.

Calling people you don't like idiots

Hey, if you don't want to be an idiot, support the health care plan. She gave you a choice. It's not her fault if you choose to be an idiot.

Cheney is just ratcheting up the fear factor because it's all they have to run on right now.

And Kerry is just name calling because they still don't have a real platform.

Just go to www.johnkerry.com for the platform. Unless you're an idiot.

That's just alot of "wouldn't this be nice" and very little actual info.
But Kerry does suck. What the wold doesn't know is if he swallows.
He doesn't need too, his wife can pay someone to do that for him.
Who's surprised that republicans need to attack strong women? Not too many hands out there...
I was attacking him for marrying into money.

I don't think anyone is attacking her for being a "strong woman" there's plenty of women I'd vote for, she's not one of them. If I were British I'd have voted for Margaret Thatcher. I would have voted for Christine Todd Whitman if I lived in New Jersey. I would have voted for Kay Bailey Hutchinson if I lived in Texas. I'm not afraid of a strong woman in the least.

Go on ahead though with your blinders on that say Republicans are racist, sexist, homophobic, Islamic haters. You too can be a left wing bigot.
I would have voted for Christine Todd Whitman if I lived in New Jersey.
You'd have voted for the same Christine Todd Whitman who quit the EPA in disgust over Dubya's disregard for environmental issues?

I kinda liked her after that too.

That wooden-toothed bastard!!!

Teresa is NOT a strong woman - she is a spoiled bitch who is used to getting everything she wants. A "strong" woman is about strong character not angry fits, and foul language in front of the world.

I am sure she has already tried to buy her husband's way into the white house.

She is the type of person to after, God forbid, becoming the First Lady hold a press conference just to tell everyone who didn't vote for kerry to "SUCK IT!"

Yeah, she should be baking cookies in the kitchen.

BTW, she told the hack reporter to "Shove it" not "Suck it."

Your attempts to turn this into a sexist argument are really quite sad.

There was more coverage of her saying shove it, then Cheney telling a senator "Fuk You" I think thats the real problem. Reporters focusing on crap like that instead more important crap. How the hell does he get a free pass, boggles the mind.

There is a difference betwen getting in a private argument and letting curses fly and publicly saying that if you don't agree with her husband you are an idiot.

There was no microphone when Cheney told Pat Lehey to "go fuck yourself". It was a comment made between men. One of whom had been publicly insulting the character of the other in the media for weeks previous. Since there was no amplification of the alledged incident, and cheney did not relate the words verbatim to the press when queried afterwards, I wonder who the tattletale was.........

Kerry, on the other hand, made the shove it quip in public, directed at a specific reporter for everyone to hear. Perhaps if Cheney was tactless enough, he should have just told Lehey to fuck himself in front of the press conference given after the handshake.

The best part of Teresa's "idiot" comment is that it applies to everyone. So I hope you realize that no matter what party or what affiliation if you don't agree with kerry you are an "idiot" according to her.

I hope the voters realize that.

That's true, but Cheney let the curse fly on the Senate floor, hardly a "private argument".

Cheney did not step up to the microphone and announce it. He said it to Lehey as they shook hands during a photo op. The only one who was privlidged enough to hear the comment was Lehey, and he promply tattletailed his ass to a reporter to relay the vice-presidential slur.
