Portal 2, i already own the game, i see the last two 360 games are nothing special.
Portal 2 was a GOTY and probably one of the best games of that generation, that's pretty special imo even though I already own it.

A lot of people are trashing Saints Row but I think it’s the best PS2 game I’ve played in 10 years .
Funny you say that, when I was playing it, I couldn't help but think that the game felt like someone played Saints Row 1 and 2 and made a soulless clone of those games.
And my gawd is this game full of bugs. I walked by a gang and went to a shop, they attacked me while in the shop and the game pulled me out of the shopping screen, wouldn't let me fight back like I was still shopping, so I just had to sit there and die. Another bug is if you are browsing shared bosses, it changes your voice and underwear to whatever one you last looked at. And good gawd, are some of the side hustles unfair to the point I just gave up. Also, whoever thought the historic sites were a good idea for a side quest needs to be fired immediately, holy shit is it tedious and boring to do those.
On the plus side, the character creator is very good. When you browse some of the shared bosses people made, it is quite impressive. Some of the missions are fun, like the one where you are dragging around a tractor trailer on a chain, had fun leveling everything with that.
I'm going to try and 100% it, but I will say this is easily the worst game in the series.

There is no way Microsoft isn't aware of what is going on with different region codes being redeemed via VPN. It's become so mainstream that it has hit slickdeals on several occasions. If Microsoft decides it is out of control, they can easily close the loophole by doing what Sony does and only allowing people to redeem codes for the region their account is registered for. I do believe if they decide to end the ability to redeem out of region codes, it will just be a fix to the loophole and not a blanket ban, as that would kill far too many accounts.
As far as calling this marketplace theft? I don't see it that way. These sellers are buying the codes at the set price for their region. If someone in Argentina buys the game and plays it, how is that any different to them buying it and me playing it? Dev still got paid what they expected for the code sold.
Keeping up with the Argentina talk, Cursed to Golf is under $3 over on Gameflip.
Pro-tip: Always buy games on Sunday afternoon / evening on GameFlip, that's when they tend to be the cheapest, unless of course you want to play it right away.

Stray is kind of an interesting experience but it isn't what I would call fun. Surprising it has reviewed pretty well.
Purrfect PS+ / GamePass type of game.

Guy says they catalog is way better than GamePass then proceeds to name Final Fantasy as a reason, which is on GamePass.
Looks like if you paid for a discounted PS+ from the Playstation store during a sale, they add the difference of the full price to your upgrade if you go to a higher tier. If you stacked years from pre-paid cards, you should be fine. (Not sure if there are pre-paid cards, but just adding that in case.) If you got a year for $45, they add $15 to the price of each year you got discounted when you upgrade.
Sony is so fucking greedy, unreal.

The Sonic 2 movie will be available for streaming on Paramount Plus starting tomorrow! Seems like it was still in theaters not even that long ago. I'm excited to watch it since I enjoyed the first one enough to rewatch it a couple of times.
It's more of the same with Jim Carrey having an even bigger role in the movie, which is a good thing. They also hinted at a third movie.

Can someone explain to me why Salt And Sanctuary has more highs and lows than a crack addict on PlayStation yet hasn't had a single sale since it's release on Xbox? Why is that? Is there some kind of marketing deal that prevents them from putting their game on sale on Xbox? I guess I can always pick it up on PS but still highly annoying.
Just an fyi, It can be had for under $3 on Game Flip.

I wish they actually were worth something like Microsofts achievements. MS pays you to play games on their system. I think Sony used to do kind of the same thing with Trophies but stopped. Damn shame.
Yep, killing trophy passes, in fact gimping their reward's system entirely, was one of the many missteps by Sony in recent years.

Is there a free vpn you use for this? I'm not having any luck finding anything that is free.
I think you already got this resolved, but just in case, just search "vpn proxy" in chrome or edge add-ons. I have a couple just in case one isn't showing the location I need to connect to.
I've never used Gameflip or Eneba for different region codes. Is there any chance Xbox will ban an account for redeeming out of region codes?
Never say never, but it doesn't appear as though Microsoft cares.

Exactly one month to go until the new PS+. Hype hype.
Hoping Kena and Deathloop are on there.

Meanwhile Jim Ryan is making an ass of himself again. Xbox fans should be grateful for Phil.
Jim Ryan is PlayStation's Don Mattrick. It is amazing the damage he has done to the brand, and they haven't axed him yet.

I cashed in some rewards recently to pick up two recent releases, Rogue Legacy 2 and RogueBook Deluxe Edition.
Finally got a chance to try Roguebook last night.
Roguebook is a deck building combat game that has a similar feel to Slay the Spire but also is a bit different. It adds two characters and deck of cards to the run as well as front and back lane swapping for bonuses to attack or defense as well as ally cards. I tried a couple of runs last night and really enjoyed the game play and character design. It has a gem system to upgrade your cards during runs and a upgrade tree for additional progression and adds to the map system. The game plays on a hexagon map and you use ink you get from combat encounters to reveal tiles on the map.
If anyone is a fan of Slay the Spire, Roguebook does an excellent job to scratch that itch. Definitely recommended as it is on sale right now but also in the future if it goes cheaper. Knowing my luck since I bought it it will show up on gamepass soon.
Love Slay the Spire, hadn't heard of Roguebook. I'll definitely be checking it out based on your recommendation. Thanks for the heads up.

I’ve been meaning to try this out. I’m gonna give it a shot and see if I get into enough to finish.
It's a lot of fun. If you've every played Little King's Story, then you get the idea. Has a great soundtrack too. One of my favorite games I've played on Game Pass.
