Being an early adopter of a new google service is a typically a bad investment. They leave so much to wither and die on the vine, i dont know why they bother with half the things they do or companies they purchase. If the business model for stadia wasnt bad enough to lack of communication is a clear sign to stay away.
Has anyone here tried GeForce Now yet? Yet another streaming service but this one ties into your steam account so you dont have to buy games through it. Has a free option with some limitations but for 5 bucks a month for premium you get RTX game play that works on your pc/android phone. Actually works surprisingly well. Not sure if its really for me but spending the money recently to build a gaming pc seems a little like a waste when I could have just done this instead.

Maybe you could try RockSmith. I bought it, but I only have an acoustic
guitar. I'm assuming you'd have to have an electric? And an Amplifier?
I've got RockSmith and it is a great way to learn and practice. You'll need an electric and the cable to hook up your guitar to your xbox. No amp needed.
This is a good idea. Sometimes I have more fun replaying an old game (FF6) than starting a brand new game (some other well-reviewed JRPG) and sometimes it just doesn't hold my interest either. I consider this to be a good sign, that gaming doesn't always hold your attention, all the time. If it did, I'd never get anything else done.
I actually jumped in to Final Fantasy 7 the other night on my Switch and played through the opening section after blowing up the reactor. Not sure if I will stick with it but it was a nice bit of nostalgia had me more interested than most things these days.
Also SIX min WHISTLE, thank you for the encouragement. I will definitely check online for some video lessons. I suck pretty bad but still enjoy playing the guitar even if it is just plucking a few strings.

Need some feedback from you wonderful xbox people.
Do you ever get into that slump where you just dont enjoy any games? You turn on any console or pc and you get that overwhelming feeling of you just cant give a crap, you cant play anything for more than 10 minutes cause it doesn't elicit any sort of response from you.
If you do get that, what draws you back out of it? Something new? Something old? Stepping away from gaming entirely for awhile? What do you do when its not fun anymore?

As far as the Castlevania collection and people being worried about a play through on any of them, got to love them save states. Even if you don't totally exploit them, just nice to have in pocket for that run where the Grim Reaper is just not cooperating.
Save states got me all the way through the first game which is something I couldn't even do when I was young and had better reflexes. Even got deep into Castlevania 3. They are still hard games but the music, level and enemy designs really make them worth playing.

If i can keep my one X and play all of Microsofts offerings into to the first year or two of the Series X's life than what is the draw to buy the new expensive console? Its not hard to imagine someone skipping it and just getting a PS5 to go along with their old xbox one. I like the consumer friendly approach but I do worry about early adoption rates and perception of the platform by 3rd party developers.

Well this is just weird. I tried one of those codes again to see the exact wording of it telling me no and now it is allowing me to use it.
Edit: Well not all of them work. Switched to the older kids account and it says the following.

HEADS UP TO EVERYONE. The codes from CDKeys for the 3 months of game pass will not redeem for existing customers. Tried 4 different codes on two accounts and none of them worked. I have contacted cdkeys about a refund, hopefully one will be issued since it doesn't mention its for new accounts only. Disappointing, I was hoping to add some time to my kids accounts for cheap.

Out of curiosity, which comments bothered you? I tried to read through some but there was so much technical jargon all I really got out of it was that it was comparable to free games from Epic Store.
It also seems like we need a cag rep to voice our concerns over to the full price retail snobs at Wikipedia. I nominate Wigbuster, because he likes to argue and has plenty of time on his hands.
The general disregard for its usefulness and the validity of its content didn’t seem to matter to anyone making a decision on the fate of the list. I don’t partake in Wikipedia edits so I could be taking it wrong but the parts citing not catalog were especially bothersome because it was not a list of prices or a way to track prices. It was simply a list like any other, no different from a discography for musicians. It was not a catalog. So to me it just seemed an agenda was made to remove it.

That list was extremely useful. I have never felt such an immediate dislike of a group of people as I did reading through the reasons these jackasses decided to delete it.
