In Topic: Raise.com Buy Video Game Currency at a Discount. New users get $10 off...

New code:

PRESSPLAY - Extra 5% off tech and entertainment (eshop, PSN, Xbox). One use per household. Expires 10/19/20

As usual, 1st time customers are better off using code 10RAISEAF for $10 off your first purchase of $50+. Also, don't forget to sign up through a referral link for the free $5 in raise cash.

Current base percentages:

$50.00 Eshop at 4% off is $48.00. After code PRESSPLAY: $45.60

$50.00 PSN at 4.10% off is $47.97. After code PRESSPLAY: $45.57
$60.00 Xbox at 5.10% off is $56.96. After code PRESSPLAY: $54.11

that might be the worse they've done to eShop for one these sales yet, usually they only drop it down to ~5-6% discount before the code instead of the normal 6-8% discount

I don't think Raise manipulates the prices for eShop cards unless they are the seller behind the codes. I sold a Starbucks card on Raise and set the discount myself.

well they must be because unlike PSN & XBL the eShop cards routinely have a worse discount when they do sales like this

right now everything is 5% off when before today's sale it was 6% off $20, 7% off $35, and 8% off $50 cards

and I bet you they'll go right back to those discounts tomorrow when this sale ends

edit: yep they're right back to 6-8% off today

extra 5% off today using the code GEEK

https://www.raise.com/shop/GEEK

they dropped eShop to 5% off before discount... it was the usual 6-8% off yesterday so clearly they artificially dropped them to make this sale not quite as good

PSN & XBL are the same as yesterday before the sale, I wonder why Raise only manipulates the prices for eShop cards?

In Topic: Pokeball plus $20 at GameStop and target

dang it's already sold out at Target :(

edit: I remember checking store inventory last night in prep for this & there was plenty at every store in Richmond, VA

they're all already pretty much all sold out to the point I can't get in-store pickup at least, ugh

edit 2: I was able to get one at the Target off Lauderdale (Richmond East), there were 2 on the shelf (in the wrong place) so I took one & put the other back in the right spot

BrickSeek says they're out of stock now though so I'm guessing someone grabbed the last one since I left
