#13773443 Yakuza 0 $39.99 GCU bestbuy.com

Posted by Virtua on 09 July 2017 - 05:18 PM

The most overhyped series I've ever tried to play. I don't get it.

Overhyped is the wrong word. It's not a game for everyone clearly but it is a very well told story with a good amount of humor, seriousness and great characters. And a fun combat system.

But if you aren't interested in Japan culture or you don't like games that have a lot of story, it's not for you.

A game being "not for you" doesn't make it overhyped or bad. It's just not for you.

I have always been bored to sleep by the persona games for example but I put 60 hours into Yakuza zero and loved it, so it's not as simple as being for people who like Japanese games.

Just like that, you got the scrubs over at gaf abusing the GCs. Thanks you loudmouth shits

GAF loves to act like enlightened high society pricks but when it comes down to it they're just as bad as the rest of the slickdealers and redditors and fatwalleters. "Fuck you got mine".

There really are a lot of people doing trade credit to amazon. In large quantities too.

Us real vets were also correct to worry after that stupid trolling mod let the genie out of the bottle on Friday (as I recall only 2000 might see it then maybe half would be too lazy to even try). Remember even Cheapy was kind of trolling us.Be ironic if Gamestop stops paying him ad rev after this mess.

What did any of that cause?? The bump lasted the normal amount of time, and the reduction in trade value is normal after a bump and after a big trade promo like this.

Posting to the cag twitter did nothing but twist the panties of a bunch of newbies in this thread that think they are part of an exclusive club or control the flips.

The way we have things now is a good balance. The direct data and daily changes in Blackbeard's sheets are private, and the information and FAQ are public.

700+ posts today alone. Yeah... Fuck reading all that shit. Once the new weekly ad comes out tomorrow, I'm thinking this topic will get locked and I'll make a new weekly ad thread every time a new one comes out. People can talk about flipping on there if they want. FAQ and other info will also be added in the wiki under the first post. Everyone good with that?

Suggest making the thread be "weekly GameStop sales and trade promos"

It's terrible that this has to be said - don't be a stupid Fuck, be discrete about this. I was picking out some games at a store, in walk some dumb Fuck and trades in his games. Next thing he says is 'Now I want to buy them all back'. The ASL was pretty confused about his request. This moron then asks 'Haven't you seen Reddit?' He ended up buying them back but the ASL and SL were both obviously very uncomfortable afterwards. If you did this, please go Fuck yourself.

This nonsense hit the masses days ago. There was no stopping this from getting stupid. It's been entertaining at least. These GameStop employees who think there will be lawsuits or calling the police need to get a life. Who cares that much about a retail gig?

Lol done that! It's point of sale right

Aren't you wasting like $22 per game though? Best Buy has that 20% plus $10 certificates on most of the Fall titles

$12 per game and the $10 certs are a good deal but still require cash to be spent.

I would say spending no cash vs spending $48 and then $38 for most releases after that, I'll go with no cash.

Plus not every game gets the $10 reward. And lesser known games and collectors editions can be a little harder to get at best buy.

If the credit was all obtained by boomerangs you aren't really "losing" anything unless there's something else you would want to use it for where GCU doesn't benefit, like consoles and controllers.

This, I think it's time we put a stop to this virus. I believe those who don't already know should have learned by now. If they get banned because they made a dumb mistake well that's there fault. There were to many people who had loose lips and started to sink ships. Why should we have to fall for there mistakes. All they know is about 60% bonus and stuff from now on after this we should keep a low profile find a way to share it with people who don't have loose lips.

You missed the point. The thread should be an information resource, not a step by step how to.

And for almost every other week of the year, this thread exists to help people get the best value for games they bring to GameStop that they own and didn't buy to make a profit on. That's the number 1 purpose of this thread.

Also people should never hide info in this thread, but we also don't have to explain it to you like you're 5. If you want to make some profit do a little research.

I've seen this guy lurk around CAG before. All he does is lurk and regurgitate what he sees in the threads here.

Yeah I can't stand these guys. They do garage saling videos and I wonder if they are juggalos or white supremacists or something. something about them just gives me a bad feeling.

But yeah trying to make videos off cag info is slimy and nobody is looking for YouTube videos about limited time deals.

I think this thread should be for deals and trade promos, and some basic info on how to research trade values and how to not get banned/rejected from trades.

What it shouldn't be for is outlining exactly what games GameStop sells for less than they offer in trade. That's what Blackbeard's sheets are for.

The tools given on the GameStop site or app for looking up values of games on clearance or weekly sale at other retailers are sufficient for people to put in a little legwork.

Can someone help me verify something...

Account 1 = $1700 towards trade limit
Account 2 = $500 towards trade limit

In account 1, only $1000 of that was done with them taking my ID, the rest they did not ask for it.
In account 2, all $500 was done with my ID.

So if they take my ID, I can only do $500 more in trades regardless of account right?

The ID doesn't matter, it's account based.

I'm dead.

What should they have done? Recognized they were getting an amazing deal and protest their good fortune by abstaining from it while everybody else reaped the benefits?

There's stupid, and there's whatever the Fuck you are.
