This is why you have two consoles. One to play online and the other for phantoms.
"Why do you have two Playstation 4's?"
One of them is a phantom machine.
It's full of phantoms!
"Okay, then. I... gotta go."
Don't connect it to the internet or else Sony will get me!

Well the last phantom I had got locked after three days being turned off but with Ethernet plugged in. First time turning it on after said three days resulted in lock.
Previously, I always used rest mode while playing said phantom. And never experienced a lock.
My belief is that there is an internal timer on the license check. Starting the game may reset the timer. Letting it sit for an extended time results in the ps4 checking for a license online which I'd no longer there, resulting in a locked account.
Again, I am sure I am way off base here but it sounds damn good to me lol.
I've been afraid to post this because I'm superstitious and believe I'd jinx myself by saying it, but I'll throw my hat into the ring. I started buying PS4 phantoms a little less than six months ago, right when all of this locking business started. Despite never turning the internet off of my PS4, I have yet to lose a phantom. My work keeps me out of the house for long periods so weeks can go by with my PS4 powered off without me actually playing any of my phantoms, and on occasion I've taken my PS4 with me and hooked it up to other internet sources. I'll probably get home at the end of the week and find all of my phantoms locked now, but so far I've been okay.

thank you i will look there too. but from the ones i have listed which one looks good? new or used?
Extra controllers are always a plus, Farcry 4 is pretty cheap these days so I'd shy away from that sale. I've seen The Last of Us Remastered for as little as $14 so if you're looking at those bundles just for that game, I'd suggest against it. Depending on the price of the used ones, I'd say the bundle with need for speed and the other games with an extra controller looks pretty good.

Looking on the Amazon Warehouse would be your best bet if you're okay with used. I got my sister a PS4 that came with an unused $10 PSN card for $216 about four months ago. I also got myself a Black Friday bundle with a copy of Bloodborne for under $300.

MAYDAY MAYDAY THINGS WENT FUBAR.
Was waiting all day for my PS4 Black Friday bundle to be delivered. As it got closer and closer to the 8PM deadline I became more worried that the order was either going to be late or they delivered it to the wrong house. I checked my email for any updates and saw one. "Due to low stock, we have canceled your order. Please reorder it at the link below." I paid $316. the next lowest price still available was $439. No way, I said. No way at all. I began my chat with customer support. They tried to explain to me that my order was canceled because it wasn't in stock. I shot back that it was scheduled to be delivered today, and if it wasn't in stock, why did they wait until after the deadline to it being delivered to cancel my order?
We talked for about an hour about what should be done, finally I got a break through. They had me order a brand new Black Friday bundle for $450 with Saturday delivery as at this point, it was too late for one day delivery. Then they just refunded me the $135 price difference. So I might have to wait another two days, but at least I'm getting a new one. That puts it under Warranty with Sony, right?

Bought a 40" LED HDTV a few days ago from the Amazon Warehouse for $138. It was listed as having a bunch of scratches and missing the screws to connect the stand to the TV, but the one that came in the mail was brand new everything still in the packaging. Hopefully my Black Friday PS4 bundle ends up being the same. Obviously I doubt it. But we'll see.

"According to our servers, there's currently three billion people trying to get $5 Xbox codes from us right now." said the Gamestop technician.
"My God..." said John Gamestop, the owner of the Gamestop brand as he removed his glasses dramatically. "We're so popular."

I did manage to get to the "enter email" screen once, then I got "an error occurred"
That's what happened to me. I'm just trying to get my account logged in so I can get that code. It feels like a victory just getting the server capacity reply to pop up.
