In Topic: buy 1 get 1 free selected Fox Bluray at Costco

08 May 2008 - 03:25 PM

It's the old AvP. I was there yesterday. The titles that I can remember are

Ice Age: The Meltdown
Die Hard 1 & 3
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Night at the Museum
The Simpsons Movie

Might be YMMV on the titles. Also of note, not ALL Fox titles are part of this deals (i.e. I tried getting the first Ice Age, the first Fantastic Four, Sunshine, and a couple of other Fox titles, but they weren't part of the deal).

In Topic: [UPDATED] Best Buy Printable 10%/12% off Coupons [May 18-26, 2008]

Why do these % off coupons from Best Buy never work on Computers (just Computer Accessories)? *sigh*

In Topic: Request: Juno and/or AVP:R deals?

15 April 2008 - 05:13 PM

Best deal I could find on Juno (Blu-Ray) was at FYE online. Price = $21.79 AR with Free Budget Shipping (FOR MEMBERS) and $24.99 AR with Free Budget Shipping (FOR NON-MEMBERS).

Not bad if you don't mind dealing with a mail-in rebate for $7.

In Topic: Get $50 Best Buy Gift Card For Each Purchased HD DVD Player Before Feb 23rd...

19 March 2008 - 02:40 PM

I bought 3 HD-DVD players in-store at Best Buy on November 4, 2007. I REALLY hope there is no beginning date. Not sure where Serpenter is getting his information, but on the BB site it doesn't mention anything at all except any purchase "before February 23, 2008".

BUT, I have not gotten an e-mail or phone call or anything saying that I qualify, so I'm worried

*Crossing my fingers*

Thanks to the OP though for bringing this to our attention!

In Topic: Official Trade/Give Away Your Disney Movie Rewards

18 March 2008 - 09:15 PM

I might be missing something totally obvious here, but what's the point of trading Disney Movie Rewards Codes? Why would I trade you a blu-ray Code worth 125 for another blu-ray code worth 125? It's like give you my $5 for your $5... pointless right? And obviously I wouldn't want to trade a code worth 125 for a code worth 100, and neither would I expect someone else to be willing to do the same.

The only reason I can see doing this would be beneficial is if you have 2 of one movie, but when would that situation come up?

Am I missing something here, or what? Sorry in advance for the newbie question.
