Ever consider playing it?
Nope. Not my type of game.

That is what is so utterly absurd - older games will sit for decades at various Walmarts, possibly lost in backrooms or the bottom/back of cases, still full price or barely discounted. I've heard stories of piles of Earthbounds that sat for many years. It would be nice to be able to track down old, rare, high value copies but the WM store inventory systems particularly when it comes to locations in store make that an even bigger crapshoot than other retailers.
Back when they were clearancing Wii U accessories, I was gonna pick up one of the two Pro Controllers they had for $12. They were on the pegs the day before, and the following day is when they put out all the Switch stuff for the launch. All those $10 wii motes, $5 nunchucks and, $12 pro controllers were gone, but Brickseek was reporting them all still in stock.
I asked an associate, and she told me the department manager pulled all the product and has it sitting in the back somewhere, and that I would have to come back and ask her the next day. The following day I tracked down the electronics manager and she said she didn't remember where she put those item and just said "Sorry, they'll get put out eventually!"
That was in March. They still have those products in the back.

So price matching is gone completely? The signs at the Walmart over here just say they are not doing Savings Catcher anymore. Savings Catcher is when you scan a receipt, they check other local prices for a cheaper price, then give you credit for the price difference if the item is cheaper elsewhere.
Target will match their website/app. Sad to see Walmart won't. I was even able to get a bigger discount for a kitchen appliance because the manager took ofd the discount % off the already discounted price.
Last I checked on Walmart's Policy page, Price Matching is now determined on a store to store basis. Probably at the discretion of the Store and or District managers.
My store still does price vmatching, and I keep encouraged by the cashiers to use the savings catcher program.

I'm just copy/pasting from a thread I made in contests and free stuff but here y'all go
Got an email this morning about the "Funko Insider Club"
In the email was a generic code for a free $9 or under funko pop.
I don't know if there are any limitations or exceptions towards this so feel free to experiment.
To get your coupon go to https://www.powerupb...com/DigitalCode
Type in your power up pro email, phone number, and the code "INSIDER" and you should get an email with your coupon for a free $9 or under pop vinyl.
Coupon is good from 8/8-8/13

it's not free though, I only wanted it due to its freeness.
I went in to see if I could get it for free since the price labels were still saying $39. Nope. Not worth getting an employee fired over a price adjustment for. I did help out my friend working there when a woman in her late 30s with that "may I speak to your manager" hair do had a sword and coupon on hand. I didn't notice the coupon she had and asked if she wanted to use mine to get it for $20, and she was like "Oh no, I've got a coupon and its gonna make this free." I then explained that the price went up and she would have to pay $20. The employees nodded to what I said and she chucked the sword and stormed out.
If I ain't getting it for free by being polite she sure isn't gonna get it for being an asshole haha
The gamestop employees thanked me and asked if I could be their boss.
After typing this it feels like a story a little kid would make up lol

walmart is selling the PS4 version preowned for $20 on their website when it's instock
Nice guy but my employee did not like that I was trading in Overwatch and really tried to talk me out of it ha. Isn't it going to be on sale at GS in like a week? Splatoon 2 is taking my online multiplayer time and I will assuredly be able to get Overwatch again for cheaper in the near future.
