I've done a LOT of driving the last few weeks, and listened to a lot of podcasts. I'm a big fan of the MLW radio podcasts, even when I tend to roll my eyes a lot (esp. at Konnan, or somehow Disco Inferno turning a blog on what a piece of shit MMA fighter War Machine is into a treatise on golddigging fans who live to be offended - some kind of inane anti-SJW rant). A few things the guys on those shows have pointed out in the last few weeks w/r/t Tough Enough:
1) the current incarnation is boring as
2) the eventual winner will have hellfire level heat in the NXT locker room, having a $250K contract off the bat
3) outside of Johnny Mundo and Miz, nobody on that show ever amounted to shit
Ryback is pretty successful.
Ivelisse has done well for herself. Kenny King, Matt Morgan, Josh Matthews, and Jackie Gayda were also featured on the show.
Miz has come a long way and deserves all the credit in the world.

TNAs incompetence to do their job and look to see if Hernandez was still under contract or not does show that they do not know what they are doing on any front and that will be their end, eventually.
TNA not doing their due diligence surprised me. Even for TNA. Probably for future business partners too.

Thats not the point I am making, I am wondering why even bother promote him as international superstar KENTA, if youre just going to give him some random name?
On the topic of Kenta, has there ever been a wrestler to be given this fan fair with the special announcements or press conferences announcing the signing? Everyone I can think of bombed. Tiger Ali Singh, Great Sasuke, Brian Pillman, Sin Cara all got these "look who we signed!" packages and then they all flopped in WWE for one reason or another. I hope KENTA becomes the exception.
Not every one bombed.

AJ Styles should reconsider the Styles Clash simply because it looks ineffective and/or stupid. This has been one of a few opinions I've kept over the last several years. What is it supposed to damage? The opponent's knees? Because that is what absorbs the most impact. I dunno. It just looks ridiculous. And, hey, apparently it's dangerous, which is somewhat amusing because the move looks harmless.

I captured this for Twitter, but, maybe, perhaps, it's equally suited for this here wrasslin thread.
Massive GIF, so I'll simply leave the URL. From PWG All Star Weekend X.
Who had any idea that Best Friends would become such an over tag team?
I love me some Chucky T but didn't expect them to explode like they have. Hottest tag team in PWG (especially if you watch DDT4 2014).

I think they're rolling out the TUFs just so more countries become exposed to MMA and/or the UFC brand. There is no way Zuffa expects us to actually watch "TUF: Ching Chong" and "TUF: Kangaroos, Eh?."
Zuffa sorta had to retain Melendez. Felt like if they let him go that the winds would change and push all associated fighters towards the direction of Bellator/Viacom.

That's why we have torrent packs.
Thanks for mentioning this.
I immediately thought of XWT but remembered that I had lost my password and stupidly used a custom domain E-mail for that account.
But apparently, at the moment, XWT registration is open. New account. Yeeeeah booooy

I have a feeling that everyone looking for as-is footage is going to be sorely disappointed. Even the Coliseum/Turner home releases were edited, let alone under the control of modern day WWE.
I can hardly wait to hear The Sandman enter to Steve Blackman's Donkey Konga music.
And then we'll get a mid-match cameo from The Gangstas but instead of Natural Born Killaz we'll get D'Lo's "You're Looking at the Real Deal Now" music. ...Which is sorta fitting considering the origin of The Gangstas.

He wasn't going to make it to the main roster. They wanted him on NXT for God knows how long. He decided he was worth more now rather than chancing NXT and being Chris Hero'd.
