I really wish the prices would have been better this sale. It seemed like the only games that were 75% or more off were obvious bundle fodder or base games only with tons of DLC. I wasn't planning on getting much but I ended up caving in and getting stuff at lesser discounts as well as stuff we all know will get bundled soon. I feel dirty :(

My Haul from Steam:

X-Com Complete Pack
Risk Factions
Starpoint Gemini 2: Titans
The Escapists  DLC
Craft The World
Freedom Pack

Legend of Grimrock Bundle
Endless Legend Expansion Set
The Talos Principle - Road To Gehenna DLC
Homeworld Remastered Collection
Massive Assault Collection
Half Minute Hero: The Second Coming - Time Goddess' Treasure Pack
Half Minute Hero Bundle
Fairy Fencer F + (DLC pack from Retroism)
Apollo4x
LISA
LISA the Joyful
This Starry Midnight We Make
Super Time Force Ultra

Evil Genius
Dead State
Deathtrap
Winged Sakura: Mindy's Arc
This War of Mine

From Indie Gala:

Starpoint Gemini 2

Starpoint Gemini 2: Secrets of Aethera

Please, Don't Touch Anything

The Escapists + The Escapists: The Walking Dead Deluxe

Lifeless Planet, Bedlam, and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor GOTY as my freebies.

Need VPN/Proxy to see and buy them. They are not locked, so you can activate them in US.

Also.... Fallout 4 has a 20% off, but you know that will be hardlocked everywhere.

In for both, thanks!

Someone please explain to him that several games on that list are old as hell and the locks were not created by lazy developers.

He is fully aware of that. His opinion is that it is better to be completely objective and label everything that runs at 30fps instead of trying to subjectively decide if it was due to laziness or technical issues or artistic vision or whatever else.

People are saying the 3rd steam game is Leona's Tricky Adventures.. which has been bundled before. I didn't think the first bundle was great, but it's far better than this one for Ninja Pizza Girl alone..

Looks like Leona's has been confirmed now on Reddit.

A bit offtopic, but doesnt anyone have any tips/suggestions for someone upgrading to a smart phone?  Like what phones are worth it (not going with iphones) and what carriers etc.?

Currently with Verizon if that matters.

It really depends on what you're looking for. I've personally been spending way too much time lately researching Android phones for my upgrade that I've been delaying. I'm super picky and I can never find the perfect phone for me so instead of just getting something good enough I wait, since whatever I get I'm stuck with for 2 years since I can only afford subsidized phones.

Anyway, personally I believe the "best" Android phone out right now is the LG G4. I feel like it has the least amount of issues with it as well as the most important features. The screen is incredible and so is the camera. It has an SD slot for expandable storage and a removable battery. The biggest downsides are sub-par video recording, no fingerprint scanner (there is supposed to be more of a focus on fingerprint technology when Android M releases in a few months), no current way to root the phone, and some people are having issues with the touchscreen not responding well. There are supposedly some fixes for the touch screen issue, or you could just keep returning them until you get a good one. It also has a 5.5 inch screen which is slightly bigger then some phones. You just missed a couple of great offers on the G4 that made it even more attractive, up until yesterday LG was giving anyone that bought it a free extra battery, battery charger, and 32 gig SD card. Best Buy also had a $100 gift card if you bought it (the Best Buy offer might still be good for another couple of days).

The other heavy weight is the Galaxy S6. It has no SD card slot, no removable battery, costs more, and has a major issue with RAM management. If you are heavy into multi-tasking you're going to have a bad time. Expect it close apps running in the background for no reason. For me that was an instant deal breaker. People were blaming it on the S6 running an older version of Android, but when the patch came to upgrade it to the newer version, the problem still persisted. It may get fixed eventually, but who knows? The screen and camera are really good though (equal to or better then the G4 depending on your taste), and the video recording quality is much better. The camera app itself isn't as good as the G4's though, the G4 lets you control everything manually if you want aside from aperture. The S6 doesn't let you control shutter speed and has less options. It does have a fingerprint scanner and a heartbeat sensor. It's also more powerful, but either phone is plenty powerful to run anything you can throw at it.  It also looks "better" then the G4, so if you're into staring lustfully at your phone you might like it more.

Personally I'm going to wait until October/November to take a look at the new Nexus or possibly the new Note. There is also rumors LG will release another flagship phone later this year. I would also avoid the HTC M9. The camera is terrible and the processor they use in it overheats which leads to extreme throttling.

If you have any specific questions let me know. Like I said I've spent way too much time researching phones over the last 2 moths or so.

It really is kind of sad that a handful of people have been able to ruin the clicking game for thousands of people. Trolls gonna troll though I guess. I'm glad I got my 100 million badge before the trolls started flocking to the YOWH rooms. I've tried to help a few other rooms get there and it has been almost impossible unless you were in the first batch of coordinated rooms created for the day. In almost all the rooms created later in the day it's been constant x00 boss nuking as well as wormhole spam to prevent even getting to a x00 boss.

Despite buying a lot of stuff, I felt that this sale was pretty disappointing. Hardly anything I really wanted dropped to 75% off and a few things that actually did go that low didn’t have their DLC discounted to match it.

Most of the stuff I bought had either been things sitting on my wishlist forever that I’d passed on many times before, minor wants, or was dirt cheap and came with cards.

I was pretty happy to finally get Banished, Driver SF, Child of Light, Door Kickers, and the 2 Hyperdimension games.

Shantae's Risky Revenge
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut
Hive Complete
The Hate Man: Shadow World
The Federation + DLC
Particula
Space Hulk Ascension
Space Hulk - Ultimate Pack
Strider
Men of War: Red Tide
Mortal Kombat Komplete
Ultimate General: Gettysburg
Gothic Universe Edition
Rayman Origins
Dungeon Defenders Barbarian Hero
Train Fever
Mark of Ninja DLC
Nom Nom Galaxy
Banished
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re:Birth 2 + DLC
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re:Birth 1 + DLC
Driver: Parallel Lines
Driver: San Francisco
Door Kickers
Kigns Bounty: Dark Side Premium Edition
Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons
Transistor
Tales of Maj'Eyal DLC
Killer is Dead
Wargame Franchise Pack
CivCity: Rome
Stronghold HD
The Dark Eye Universe Bundle
Victoria II DLC Collection
Child of Light
Valkyria Chronicles
Waveform
Revolution Ace
I, Zombie
12 Labours of Hercules II: The Cretan Bull

What does everyone think of the base game of Age of Wonders 3?

It is supposed to be very good. I was very disappointed to see that the complete pack was only 50% off. I want this game so bad but I gotta keep waiting for 75% off the complete pack before I pull the trigger. Hopefully by the Winter Sale it will be there.

I can't remember the verdict on: Planetary Annihilation
Good RTS, or is it an incomplete game that the devs gave up on?

I've been doing some research on it lately and it seems like at launch it was an absolute mess but it looks like the dev is still working on it and improving it. Currently it seems to be in an ok state with a lot of stuff fixed but still missing a few things. The general opinion seems to be that it is a decent RTS currently.

I agree the variety has been good, but the prices have been pretty bad. The only stuff getting 75% off are 4 year old games and bundle fodder.  I'd rather have less variety and better prices personally.

Does anyone have an opinion or recommendation for the Wargame franchise? It looks like a mix between a RTS and Risk. I watched a video and it seems kind of cool but also pretty difficult. I used to like RTS games but I haven't played one in forever since it seems like the newer RTS games play super fast and I'm not good enough to keep up. The last RTS I played was probably C&C Generals lol.  I don't think I'd touch the multi-player either, so is the single player good?

If you go to http://www.gog.com/games there are drop downs to filter by Price > Discounted games and then another to drill down further by release date.

Thanks! That is exactly what I was looking for!
