Blackbeard. He hasn’t done anything but cause trouble. We used to have such a good community before he came along. We had that really cool guy who used to run the penny guide thread and everyone used to help each other out. Man those were the good old days. Y’all don’t know shit about that.

I’m actually looking at the 55in, thanks though. I was originally sold on getting the TCL. But even with all of the great reviews, I keep hearing horror stories. Bleeding back lights, dead pixels, having to play lottery on if you get a good or bad unit. The 900x was a little more than I was looking to spend. But judging by reviews, it’s worth it. If I’m being honest, I’ve changed my mind multiple times on which I wanted to purchase. Was going to stop by the store to compare the display models but it doesn’t look like they have the p605 on display.
If anyone has either of these TVs, I’d love to get some input. Am I just worrying for no reason about the issues on the TCL? Is the Sony a much better buy?
I have a 55 inch and a 65 inch 900e. I haven't purchased a Sony in years, but this model series 900e is one of the best I've personally seen. I actually compared the 900e to the 930e that sony makes, and for me personally the cheaper 900 series looks better than the 930e. I would strongly recommend the sony over TCL if you have the kwan as the contrast with the black colors on this TV are some of the best I've seen even compared to OLED and QLED. I have also considered the TCL for a 3rd gaming TV in my computer room. If I were to get the TCL, I would be sure to get a warranty option due to what you mentioned above.

I saw it asked before, but not answered.
Has anyone tried the COD text code without actually buying COD? Sometimes these codes give the bonus just by entering the code.
I did the other day, it does not activate until they ring up the copy of COD.

Still, nothing’s as offensive as B.B. turning off GCU during the holiday sales.
I totally agree. YMMV Disclaimer: I've actually had decent luck with getting the cashier/managers to price adjust upon request for the GCU discount. I've had about an 80% success ratio over the past couple holiday seasons. Mind you, i'm usually making a fairly large purchase and they do not like the hassle of irritating an elite plus member and losing the sale. It's like all things in life...if you don't ask, the answer is always no.

Hmm. Just bought myself a three month with the 30% off credits from pc game supply hoping to last through BF,
I'm assume the BF ads will be out before this ends?
There might be a few spoilers, but I wouldn't count on them being out by the 11th. It all depends on what the retailers do to each other in the days leading up to BF.

On Reddit people have posted success with getting both coupons to work. The way it worked on there was $150-$30 (trade in coupon)-$36 (30% off coupon)=$84+tax and you have the $20 GC from trading in.
I would stand corrected then. I was just reporting based on the legalese from the coupon. I got my controller for $100 via msft company store fam/friend discount and I was extremely disappointed with the durability. It was a good controller while it lasted. As far as I am concerned Microsoft should issue a brand new controller when something that pricey goes kaput.
