I got it now too! I also got an email for plat of GTA V.

I got an email for getting the platinum in Watch Dogs 2 a few days after completion. I was surprised to see it. No extras but it is a nice touch. Hoping they continue to add more stats of our gameplay into the app and accounts as I love seeing all the different things i've done on xbox games with their detailed pages for each game.

#13593066 Diablo 20th Anniversary Sale

Agreed. And it's one of the best Action RPG games ever released, with a staggering amount of content for the price. People complaining about the game are probably just jaded and burnt out on games in general, and need to find a new hobby.

Yeah, i would agree that this is not a game that has no value. I'm fairly burnt out at the moment after grabbing a ton of games at christmas time. I recently decided to not rush into playing new games I have and just enjoy them as I see fit. First thing I did was started playing Diablo 3 again, and am currently doing hardcore runs on PS4.

As a PC Gamer first, I used my PS3 the most because the online multiplayer is free.  The PS4 having a PSN+ requirement means I'll likely never play multiplayer games.  There are a lot of massively successful online games across the PC that have entirely free multiplayer; guaranteed to have larger install bases than the console crowds.

The console manufacturers are fleecing console players for the walled garden Apple like mentality*.  As long as you're aware of it while paying for it, sure, go nuts, but don't call people pointing out the fallacy "entitled".   Been gaming for decades now, seen all sorts of highs and lows, but paying for peer to peer content is lame.

Except this is not true. Outside of Mobas, MMOs and RTS, install bases are just better on consoles and they are not divided between various services. Infinite Warfare is a perfect example where you can only play with people on the service you purchased it(Microsoft or Steam) which hurt the PC community greatly to the point where it was not in the top 20 of concurrent users on Steam the entire launch week. How about Battlefield's user base on PS4 dwarfing other platforms including the fact it had more active users at one point than PC and Xbox combined. PC is a little more user friendly but it is no where near perfect and seems to only be getting worse as things continue to get more and more divided.

I don't know, they love charging their fan base multiple times for the same games again, and again. With a proper account system, they'll have to give that up, or come up with some new excuses on why they need to charge consumers again for the same games.

If this was anyone else, I would say the problem will be fixed, but where "N" is involved, "Please Understand!"

This is a major reason why i've ignored them since the wii. Their actions just do not make sense long term in any way. Hopefully things change with the switch but there really isn't any reason to believe they will.

not with price matching, 0% financing and bonus points from their card. It turns out to be significantly cheaper.

Old news is old. Been this way for two weeks

and yet no one knew because it was buried in a useless thread that is only frequented by the same people every day and not the casual CAG supporter.

Because a day one patch that changes so much doesn't speak very well of what this game is going to be.

It is a 15 man team that is making easily one of the most hyped games this generation if not most hyped. They are making a massive game and have worked to remove as many bugs and issues themselves while also preventing any spoilers about the game, which the patch effectively did on the second point. Massive changes before launch says nothing of how the final product will be. Play the game before talking out of your ass.

It's amazing how many haters this game has and want it to fail and its not even out yet.

Its the same story with anything massively popular. People have to hate or find a negative as they cannot accept a world that can actually enjoy something that doesn't fit their perfect idea of how everything should be.

#13424715 Gamefly - Used Game Sale (Updated!)

They are both grind for gear games, I don't have much experience with Destiny, but I've poured over 100+ hours into the Division. It's a great game, however it is plagued with glitches and exploits, seems like every time Ubisoft fixes something they break something else. You will definitely need to buy the new DLC or the Season pass, the Underground, or you will be left in the dust, the Underground missions make it much easier to get higher tier gear, so be ready to drop another $40 down for the season pass.

Destiny is far beyond the Division. Games plays a lot better and is unique compared to other shooters. Weapons types are all unique and feel a lot better to use while they also feel different from each other. Destiny also offers a lot more game play variety with completely seperate story and multiplayer modes, unique events and less grindy feel ad each world has its own unique look and their own enemy types. Though mission types don't vary to much.

#13317497 Brink $4.99/$3.99 GCU (Xbox 360)

Posted by oldboy26 on 06 May 2016 - 03:15 AM

Brink was not that bad of a game and moved the genre forward in a few areas that are still evident today. Wished they would have just spent a little more time cooking it so they could've shored up it's faults.

Blah. I was hoping GCU would be applied when the two games were in the cart but instead a "special price" of $30 per game shows. I can wait for them to drop cheaper.

That is the gcu price....

#12800461 Best Buy: $20 off The Order 1886, MLB 15 the Show (PS4), and Bloodborne...

Posted by oldboy26 on 14 July 2015 - 01:44 AM

I just want to say I loved The Order. I don't understand all the hate. Graphics are amazing, story was decent but nothing new, and the gameplay was integrated very well in my eyes. Yes there are a lot of QTEs but I enjoyed it's more cinematic approach while still including the player unlike games like Metal Gear 4 that had us sit through very long cut scenes with no interactions at all. Gun play was smooth and worked well though they didn't really explain some features that you could use to make things easier, though the game is never really hard. I beat the game in about 8-9 hours, and resold it on Ebay right after for more than I spent so it was definitely a great purchase. Just wish the PE and CE versions would go under $40 and I'll buy them instantly.

#12673986 Bloodborne $49.99 at Best Buy

Posted by oldboy26 on 03 May 2015 - 02:21 PM

If you have a ps4 I can't recommend this enough

Bloodborne is not a game for everyone. It needs a lot of patience and creativity. It can be very frustrating  within minutes of starting it, so it's not a mass appeal game.

Link to info about PSN UK 12 deals of Christmas sale. We'll probably get something similar in the US.

Not necessarily, as they seem to give better deals outside the US. Hoping we get something good, and black friday was at least a positive to see top games discounted a good amount. Now just give us a large Vita sale, and some more PS4 sales!

Also...Titanfall shits on Advanced Warfare. In fact, Sledgehammer owes Respawn royalties for the ripoff.

If that was true then people would choose to play titanfall over a supposedly broken COD but they aren't.... AW is the best COD in years, and the mechanics between TF and AW are completely different. They are not nearly the same, and both are very good experiences in multiplayer. Too bad TF never had a single player.

People complain about the boards being full of garbage posts and yet we have threads like this that are completely pointless as all that is needed is the title.
