#13950648 XBL Deals - DwG: Destiny 2, CoD, Injustice 2, WRC, 360 Dynasty Warriors, more...

Reminder about "Halo Wars 2" ... the physical disc of the "Ultimate" edition (in stores) only includes the Season Pass & HW1 for just XB1 (not Win10) ... and that Season Pass in the box doesn't include "Awakening" DLC either.  By purchasing the Complete Edition as a digital redemption (just $10 more than the digital barebones game), you'll get a dual XB1/Win10 license, the Season Pass, AND the Awakening DLC.

Seriously, why no DLC sale for Mafia 2...?

I'm ready to buy everything for that game, but not at full price.

See if you can find the retail 2-disc "platinum hits" version ... it's got the game on disc #1, and almost all DLC (3 missions & 4 outfits) on disc #2.  The only DLC you'll be missing is the "Made Man" outfit previously exclusive to the collector's edition.

I didn't realize until now that the awesome Diablo-like PC game Titan Quest will be released for PS4 on March 20th.  Here's an EU PS blog entry describing the porting process:

https://blog.eu.play...imised-for-ps4/

Now for the CAG part, if you have Amazon Prime there's a deal where you can preorder the game for $24 instead of the $40 list price (40% off).

https://smile.amazon.../dp/B077YDJYQ6/

You must add the game to your cart and go to checkout to see the $24 price.

On the Amazon page, it lists shipping weight as "0.96 ounces", whereas disc-based games start @ "2.4 ounces", so it's going to be a digital-redemption card in the case.  Not sure if "digital" is a plus/minus for some folks, but thought I'd add that info.

#13923737 1/3 - 1/16 ... Save 14% off Xbox $50 GC (and 50¢ off per gallon of gas)...

Posted by Cornelius on 09 January 2018 - 04:07 AM

Now through Tuesday, Jan. 16th ... save $7 off a $50 Xbox GC @ the Albertsons family of stores (incl. Safeway, Vons, etc).  Although this is a "1-time" special you have to load onto your Safeway card via the Just4U savings program, I'm relatively certain there's no purchase limit @ Albertsons, because they don't require any registered Just4U card to get savings.  Here's the offer captured from my iPhone:

If you ARE a member of Just4U, however, you can get 10X the reward points for this Xbox GC purchase via a different offer ... meaning you'll get 500 points, or 50 cents off per gallon of gas, when you fuel up in Jan/Feb (since the points will expire after 2/28/18).  Here's that 2nd offer via my iPhone:

http://delistedgames...-fighters-xiii/
King of fighters xiii has been delisted but i thought you could go back in your transaction history or download list and get it? It was free on ps+ on oct 9 2012. I am in my download list for ps3 and went all the way back to oct 2012 and it is not listed there to redownload. Any way to get it?

I see it on my download list and have the option to download it. Not sure how to help you find it in your own list cause whenever I re-up PS+ every PS+ game on my download list has its purchase date changed to the day I re-upped (so right now KoF is October 2017) but I can certainly confirm it's there.

thanks. It is missing from my download list on my actual ps3 but i was able to use the android app to eventually find it there. I had to scroll through 25-30 pages to find it. It was horrible. Something needs to be done so we have an easier time re-downloading our stuff. There isn't even a search function for our download list on the app

Check out "PSDLE" ... it's a thing of beauty!  http://repod.github.io/psdle/

Looking at Resogun, Prototype Franchies Bundle, and The Last Guardian. Still on the fence about the Vector Unit Triple Pack.

Remember the Prototype franchise bundle is for PS3 ... which isn't so bad if you read the reviews and find out the overpriced PS4 versions look worse (due to massive anti-aliasing & noticeable frame drops) than the original PS3 versions.

I can't certify this will work, but remember that Lowe's has a gift-card end-cap where you might be able to find other gaming GC's like iTunes, Steam, PSN, or Nintendo. :-)

P.S. If you've got an itch late-night for some Xbox or Domino's credit, remember the Queen Anne (Seattle) & Crossroads (Bellevue) locations are open 24/7/365, plus the 2 Ballard locations are open until midnight, and most neighborhood locations will be open until 10pm through Christmas.

#13890864 Sticky: Fred Meyer's coupons valid upon Xbox & Playstation GC's

Posted by Cornelius on 25 November 2017 - 06:18 AM

Update... fail. The current coupon seems to exclude gift cards and wouldn't work at the register. Darn. I as excited to reup.

Hmmm. Previous coupons also excluded gift cards and worked. I don't know why it failed. They did move psn cards into the main store and outside of electronics so maybe that was it.

Moving the cards to outside of the Electronics Dept. (onto the "Gift Card Mall" end-cap kiosks) meant they no longer stocked PRE-ACTIVATED cards behind the register, and instead they all became dumb cards that activate @ checkout ...

HOWEVER during this holiday season ... and this is a BIG YMMV (aka theory based upon prior years' experience) ... you may notice the Xbox "multipack" gift card pack stocked on the game accessories aisle.  If so, check to see if it's encased in plastic within the card, or simply attached via glue.  Those that are sealed within the card MAY be pre-activated, in which case the "20% off accessories" MAY apply.  Here's a couple of examples to know the difference:

Pre-activated?  Definitely YMMV:

NSe0keB.jpg

NON-ACTIVATED:

8443052_sa.jpg

You should attempt to purchase this in the Electronics dept, just like the pre-activated cards from years ago, since other cashiers in Grocery or Apparel or Home may not ring up the 20% off coupon at the right time.  Be sure to let us all know if there's any success to this!  :)

#13869177 11/5 - 11/11 Rite-Aid ... $5 in Plenti pts w/ $25 Xbox GC (limit 2)

Posted by Cornelius on 06 November 2017 - 06:37 AM

The current Rite-Aid ad features these CAG-worthy deals:

  • Earn 500 Plenti points (aka $5) when you buy a $25 Xbox gift card. Limit 2 per Plenti acct.
  • Earn 800 Plenti points (aka $8) when you buy $50 in StubHub or Darden restaurant gift cards (accepted @ Olive Garden®, LongHorn Steakhouse®, Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen®, Yard House®, The Capital Grille® Seasons 52®, Bahama Breeze® and Eddie V's®) ... these 2 can be flexible loads between $25 - $200 each. Limit 2 per Plenti acct.
  • 50% off electronic video games including Atari Flashback & Genesis Classic (reg. $69.99 each).
  • 50% off electronics from Magnavox & Craig ... amongst other things, they show a throwaway Win8 tablet, BT speaker tower, and 19" TV in the ad, but not great selection at my store to know if these are priced as reasonable stocking-stuffers or secret-Santa gifts.

Obviously y'all came to this thread for this ...

extra_large.jpg

For those not familiar with Plenti, you can earn/cash points at these B&M locations:

  • Macy's
  • Rite Aid
  • Chili's
  • Bi-Lo
  • Harvey's
  • Winn-Dixie
  • Exxon / Mobil
  • (plus they have a "cashback" program to earn 1% at 800 online stores using a click-through link)

Small print says the following ...

Limit 2 offers per customer. Plenti points earned at Rite Aid generally credit to account 6am day after issuance. Expire after 2 years. Must fully enroll and have at least 200 points to use Plenti points. See http://plenti.com/terms for details. Plenti points are worth at least $1 in savings for every 100 points earned. No mix & match. Applicable sales tax applies.

Finally I'll add that you can't use prior Plenti points to purchase the Xbox GC's, but you can use either debit or CC cards to purchase them, unlike @ grocery chains like Safeway or Kroger which are debit-only.  There's also no sales tax charged on Xbox GC's.

#13736661 20% back in Plenti points on BB, GS, & Xbox GC's @ RA 6/11-17

Posted by Cornelius on 10 June 2017 - 04:12 AM

The upcoming week's Rite Aid ad features 2 gift-card rebates:

  • Earn 500 Plenti points when you buy $25 of these items ... GameStop & Xbox
  • Earn 1000 Plenti points when you buy $50 of these items ... Best Buy

... plus a few other Plenti rebates like Applebee's, IHOP, Bass Pro, Texas Roadhouse, Kohl's, Nike, and Regal cinemas.

Obviously the most ideal benefit would be to purchase more GC's the day after your 1st GC's so that you're not stuck with a Plenti point surplus. GameStop GC's can also be used to purchase PSN/Xbox/Steam online GC's & get instant delivery by email, so there's multiple uses you can do with GC's. :-D

I can confirm I still have the Smite God pack. If you managed to snag it while it was glitch you should still have it. If they were going to revoke it they probably would of already done it already.

Unsure if most of you heard, but the Seattle/Redmond area got 2-8" of snow Sunday night, with another 2-4" on Monday, and most of our metro area has been shut down (traffic wise), since we see snowfall only about 3 times per winter these recent years.  Therefore, nobody went to work from early Sunday night through early Tuesday morning, so only now are businesses are slowly catching up to Monday's to-do's ... including revoking erroneous purchases & updating sale prices.  Examples ... last week's Xbox sale items didn't auto-expire @ 3am, and my account's purchase history no longer shows the "God Pack". ;)
