So anyone have any luck redeeming those extra monthly $5 coupons? I tried to use one yesterday but the rep pulled up the real coupon in his pos and added it to my transaction.

I tried and they came up invalid in store when the associate scanned my screenshots of them

Ordered RE4R ps5 and octopath 2 and Kirby deluxe on switch for the b2g1 the night the sale went live and to my surprise they’re all new sealed copies

This is an interesting topic I was literally discussing with two friends this morning... digital media and not owning anything anymore.

 

Quick button topic... new car, new computer. Nothing has a CD player anymore. I don't even know how or where to buy a CD in person. Perhaps that's our generations cassette tape? Then mp3s/digital albums... everything is now pandora, Spotify, Apple Music. Sure it's cool to be able to listen to anything at any time. That is for now, until they start pulling content like Netflix does with movies, or how HBO is removing their own show westworld. Then we have Disney streaming, paramount, direct to digital movies instead of 4K discs...

 

Now onto video games. I just read about a new game, Chained Echoes. I'd love to play it, it's a game right up my alley. Except it's digital only, with no physical disc planned in the USA. Looks like I'll never play it at this point since I won't buy digital games. A friend said gamepass is a great idea... you can pay $60 for one game and possibly hate it, or may a small monthly fee to play hundreds of games. Call me old school, I still want it in my hands. If this current generation of consoles is the last of physical media, then so be it. I'll build a nice physical collection and ride that out for many years to come.

Anyone have any tips on what to do if you ordered the wrong version of a game during but 2 get 1?

Realized my copy of Kena Bridge of Spirits was the ps4 version, called customer support but they said they couldn't help and the ps5 version says not sold in stores.

Seems like my only options are to return for the prorated price in store and re-buy elsewhere or go to walmart and ask them to exchange without a receipt.

Kena is free upgrade from everything I’ve seen online so if you don’t care about owning the “PS4 copy” when you put the disc in your ps5 you should be able to play the ps5 version

Evil dead the game for PS4/5 and Xbox was added as a preorder title that eligible along with demon slayer hinokami chronicles on switch.

i found a 3060ti at a best buy today. I searched "rtx" on the best buy app and selected show store stock and it said a store near me had one. asked an employee in store about it. he checked the computer and sure enough pulled one out the back. said it was a return but after testing it theres nothing wrong with it.

Drove past a GameStop with ps5s and they had a huge line here in NJ. Then went to the mall for stocking stuffers and the GameStop there didn’t have ps5s but were telling everyone they had Xbox bundles available for purchase

MS sent out halo series X bundle emails, I scored one!

The Series X I bought on Nov 28 from MS is still pending. Has an estimated delivery of Jan 4. I don’t remember if it’s confirmed that you can or if you can’t add credit to a pending order before it ships. I’m going to be charged ~$220 to my card eventually. Would definitely cash out the bing points to cover it, but only if they will actually apply to my order
