I just can't resist the obvious trolling opportunity.

A good parent teaches his children right from wrong, real from imaginary.

Video game / Movie content / Cartoon violence is not real and should be communicated to a child as such.

How many so called good parents continue to teach children lies and falsehoods and have no problem having their children talk about the invisible deity who lives in the sky that somehow controls our every action. Utter hogwash!!

It sounds to me like you aren't a parent. Therefore you are disqualified from this conversation.

I feel like I need to add to the list: all my 3-yr old cares about is "Bikes & Cars" so I am perpetually playing Trials Fusion, Forza Horizon 2 & Forza Motorsport. His mom once in a while jumps in for some Pinball action (she can't stand any violence, so we even stopped watching action movies :wall: )

I am still worried about what he is going to pick up - I have a habit of saying "shoot" every time something goes wrong (meaning, "all the time") and he picked it up. Man, I got so muck flak for that from my wife...my parents never got so ticked off with me, ever.

Anyhoo, if anyone from here is my friend and notices that I play a lot of car/bike games, that's not because I like them. Its because my kid likes them. To be fair, I love the genre, I just dont prefer to play all the time. But you gotta do what you gotta do, for your kid :)

Very much understand. As adults and parents, we are the biggest influence on our kids and they will take up after us. I love gaming and my son loves watching me play so I started playing Rayman on the PS3 and my son loved it. Knowing my backlog isn't kid friendly, I convinced my wife that we should get a Wii U for his 5th birthday and now I can play fun games with him with no worries. Only restriction we have is that he has to read 2 books before playing and he can only play for 30 minutes or 3 levels.

My brother let his kids at the age of 5 play grand theft auto. He went to school and told his teacher him and his dad got a prostitue, killed her and took her money. He got a note sent home how inappropriate that was. She understands its a video game and not real life but not a thing a five year old should be watching or repeating at school. My brother is an idiot.

That is disgusting. I have a 5 year old and I refuse to have him in the room when I play games like Castlevania LOS! Your brother sounds like a real champion just like a woman I know that let's her 5 year old watch rated R horror movies and doesn't understand why her daughter can't sleep at night.

It is unfortunate that people that are stupid can breed.

Then why bother to post it here? Especially when your talking about people not "getting on their pulpit". Posting that your proud you scalped 2 systems in a thread where people are desperately trying to get them shows me that your scum.

Thank you for pointing it out, Reraise. Because I resold 2 game consoles, I should go rethink my life and what I'm contributing to society. Being called scum on cheapassgamer for reselling by Reraise really hurt. My weekend is ruined and I won't be able to live with myself.

Not that I care, but that is 100% reselling, no matter how you justify it.

:D/  :D/  :D/ Most definitely reselling and I'm glad I got to do it to reduce my out of pocket expense.  :D/  :D/  :D/

I sold 2 immediately after picking them up from Gamestop. Before all of you get on your pulpit, I had 2 seperate pre-orders canceled (I pre-ordered from one place that canceled and then preordered from another which then got canceled also) so I used my monies to snag a wii u because I thought I wouldn't get a MM 3DSXL. I bought 3 and kept 1, selling the other 2 for $300 and $315 respectively via Amazon. I made $70 profit on each ($140 total) and have to pay $70 out of pocket for mine. I'm glad I got rid of it asap.

Just wanted to say that I'm pumped to get DKTF because it is for my son who is turning 5 on Saturday. My wife and I agreed to buy him a Wii U for his birthday and he loves this game. He calls me Donkey Kong and I call him Diddy Kong all because he would hover and watch me play DKCR on the 3ds. Awesome gift and thanks Nintendo.

To all you Cry babies, go suck on a lemon, you self entitled brats

Personally, as the owner of all 3 different 3ds zelda editions, this one is by far the ugliest, the gold color kinda looks like a poop color and does come close to the one from a link between worlds 3ds. So if you're looking for one and didn't get it, don't be salty, that's $200+ dollars you saved in your pocket!

I have both ALBW W and the MM edition. The 3d function on MM blows the regular 3d from ALBW out of the water! I love it! There is no ghosting on donkey kong country 3d! I am glad I got it and personally, I think the color is fine. It is more like gold with a green tint

that game is worth stupid money sealed.

Glad you are going to play it instead.

I bought it for less than $35 new (not including gift cards). I am a Zelda fan but I never had an N64 growing up so as an adult, I wanted to get it to enjoy and catch up on the awesomeness. I have a 4 year old son who hovers around me when I play video games and he has seen me finish DK Country, Zelda ALBW, and other games. The joy I see in his face when I beat the level and bad guy or the disappointment when I fall off a ledge or die heavily outweighs the monetary value of selling the game. Plus, I want to hand down all my nintendo games down to him when he is old enough and I'm sure much of the value of the game will still be there.

I will admit, if I don't care for the game, I'll sell it for mad money but if it is something more than that, I'll keep it.

Do you have any advice that doesn't involve reading? j/k I'm usually pretty good with women, but I wasn't sure if there were any cultural differences I should be aware of...she seems pretty reserved, so I won't yell out "Que Rica!" or anything stupid. :-#

I tend to date my friends too. Actually, I'm out of female friends to date because I dated all of them. :-

Culturally, yes, there are differences worth considering. If she is Mexican or from central america and she has a dad, it is respectful to ask him if you could date his daughter. It may seem awkward (it is) but if a relationship blooms, he will most likely have your back if things don't work out. Pay for meals and open doors, etc... If you know spanish, definitely a huge plus. Make sure you get a long very well with the mom too. If she is from South America, it is mostly the same except for Argentina and Brazil.

If she is Puerto Rican, don't even waste your time. I don't consider them latinos but classify them as an off shoot of humanity. Terrible? Yes, but true.

How about "I wanna stick my bookmark in a place that's never been read. Can you help me with that?"

Dating advice from a guy that "is in love" with that dude Sky Ray...

That's why I didn't call out the female CAGs.

I learned my lesson with meeting chicks online. I met up with a chick that I initially met on PSN or another forum. We had talked on FB exchanged (normal-non dirty) pics for over a year. We skyped on several occasions, but when we met face to face I just wasn't into her physically. She looked different in person eventhough I literally had 30 pics of her. It was always her in the pics, she is just a great photographer. I tried to keep an open mind and she stayed a couple days at my place. Nice girl, we just didn't click physically.

On a related note:

I want to ask out the latina librarian that works at my library (duh), but I don't know how to do it. I only see her at the counter, so there are always older librarians around. I have to be careful because if she turns me down, I'll have to hide from/avoid her. haha One of the old ladies said that one of the librarians had a crush on me. I figured it was her, but it was of course one of the ladies that is old enough to be my mother.

Take advice from me (look at my screen name...) plus, I asked my wife out in the library and well, we got married.

If you haven't struck up conversations in the past, now would be a good time to do so. Something simple like asking what books she likes or prefers goes a long ways and opens up opportunities for more dialogue on your next visit. Ask her for a book she thinks highly of, literally check it out and make sure she is the one to do it (you want her to notice you are checking it out). On your way out, tell her thanks for the recommendation and after you read it, you'd like to discuss it with her. When you bring it back and assuming she is working, tell her you'd still like to discuss and ask her when she has time outside of the library to meet at a cafe to discuss. Boom. Before you know it, you are on your second date and so forth.

P.S. I never dated a woman I didn't know for at least 6 months as a friend. Weeds out a lot of crazies...

I'm pretty sure Sky Ray is a DUDE. I remember him stating stating that many pages back. Sky Ray, is the avatar a picture of you or a girlfriend/slster?

I am not sure what Gamestops you guys go to but the "girls" that work at the stores around here are all 300+ pounds, and may actually just be slightly effeminate guys. That would have to be the best dumpster diving anyone has ever had to make it worth while.

When you say dumpster dive, are you referring to the big metal boxes outside of Gamestop or the 300+ lb women?

I kid, I kid
