So anyone who got in on this deal definitely needs to keep an eye on their card/Paypal activity. I just got a shipment confirmation from TRU (the order still shows up as invalid on their website), and when i checked my Paypal activity, it says i've been charged $18.55. I didn't even know it was possible for a seller to "update" a charge that had been authorized from Paypal so they could charge you more, and i'm not pleased to learn that it is. Just opened a dispute with Paypal and ripped them a new asshole for allowing it, and told them i'd better either get back the $7.55 difference(so that the charge reflects the original order) or the total charge(and TRU can keep their crap).
Sneaky trick on the part of TRU(cancellations are fair game when it comes to glitches, but charging extra after the fact is just dirty), and my confidence in Paypal is actually shaken that they'd allow a vendor to update a charge without the buyer's consent.

At this price i'd be happy to grab one, even if just to download all the free Games with Gold i've redeemed, but i don't see any point in investing in a Type S with the Scorpio right around the corner. I think they shot themselves in the foot with that announcement.

Once again, thanks for all the hard work in compiling the list! Regardless of how people feel about the deal(s) or lack there of, we all appreciate the effort you put into putting these together.
Seconded. Deals are pretty weak this time around, but the effort is appreciated. Merry Christmas!
Also, my balls are quite shiny.

You can use these online. I found out how a while ago.
Don't be logged in. Checkout as a guest. During checkout put your MyBBY member ID and from the mystery certificate use the certificate number. It should then apply the 20% GCU (if applicable) off, let you use the mystery certificate, any other certificates you might have (need to manually add them like the mystery cert). You should also earn points for the purchase since you put your member ID in during the checkout process.
They don't want you doing this as to make you go into the store. That is why these exist, to try to get you into the store to buy more then you plan on. So these work online if you work around the "mystery" part.
Thanks a million for this. I've gotten a few of these certificates before(i think they send me a $5 every birthday), and never ended up using any of them because the nearest store is a 30 minute drive from here.
I did encounter one snag when checking out: for some reason, my 20% GCU discount just wouldn't apply at checkout, even though it accepted the $5 mystery certificate. However, after entering my certificate number and seeing the $5 certificate apply, i returned to cart, then checked out the normal way (through logging in). My 20% discount worked properly then, and the $5 mystery certificate was still applied to the order. If anyone comes across the same issue, maybe this will help.

Wow, really? 50 games for Atari can't fit one Blu-Ray disc? Pretty sure they could fill up a 700 MB CD or at least a 4.7 GB DVD.
What the actual f---?!
LOL i'd be willing to bet they could fit every Atari game ever on a Genesis cart.
On a side note, i imagine it's a licensing issue, but it's too bad neither of these collections has the Atari Spider-Man game. It was actually a lot of fun.

What do you all think about the You don't know Jack party games? does it run well for parties?
I'd highly recommend the first Jackbox pack. It's worth the price alone for You Don't Know Jack, but my friends all went crazy over Drawful, which is basically like a video version of Pictionary in which you use your cell phone to draw and everyone goes simultaneously. It ends up being hilarious, both intentionally and unintentionally. The other games in the pack are entertaining, but these two are the gems of the collection. The second Jackbox Party Pack isn't nearly as good as the first one, but it has its moments(Earwax can be especially funny), and i don't regret paying $7.50 for it the last time it went on sale. Still, Jackbox Party Pack #1 is where it's at, and yeah, it's perfect for parties, especially if you have friends that aren't gamers. My friends are split pretty evenly between the ones who'd be content to play Halo all night and the ones who have no interest in it whatsoever, and everyone is happy to play Drawful.

No joke. Got one for a Brazilian Wax, some iPhone crap, and a trip to Las Vegas. Groupon must think I'm a floozy.
I got an e-mail from them once trying to sell me an "Oh Naughty Thrusting Rabbit Vibrator." How in the hell did i end up in that demographic?
