I still think you're crazy, coming from somebody that did 2 full playthroughs of Persona 4 on PS2, and 2 full playthroughs of P4 Golden on Vita.

You have no idea how much I'm going to appreciate P5R with Baton Pass being a feature ready from the get go with each teammate as opposed to P5 and it's "Here's a new teammate, but can't do Baton Pass until you beat the palace they're introduced at and then go hang out with them" like holy shit that alone is making me excited for my P5R playthrough next year.

I just rolled credits on The Forgotten City and WOW! I have no idea how some of you couldn't get into it. I got the canon ending and did not use any guides which I highly recommend. The game gives me Majora's Mask vibes and I only played it since it was leaving Game Pass but wish I played it earlier. I am going to try to get the other 3 endings now. Might need a guide for that. I HIGHLY recommend this game!

Really glad you enjoyed! I fell in love with the game as well. Highly recommend The Forgotten City for anyone that's a fan of Skyrim, not surprising since it was originally a Skyrim mod made by one person. I like games that provide huge emotional payoffs after just a few hours of playing instead of huge 200 hour affairs. I stumbled across the documentary making of the game by NoClip. Might make you appreciate the game even more.

Agree, the only thing that I ever thought was off about it was implying old G4 didn't encourage some of the shit.

I don't know how much damage it actually did. I think it mostly just pissed off people who happened to see the video but weren't actually watching the reboot anyways. But it did keep coming up in just about every conversation I've seen about them since it went up

It is sad when that stuff happens. The wife bumped into my PS5 while I had it standing vertical, it fell on top of her. Long story short, I am now a widower. At least the wait of that monster made her death a quick one.

I'm going to take Scorn for a spin, in part because I want something new to try on my gaming PC, but we'll see if it's too gross. 'Body horror' is definitely one of my least favorite phrases, even though I do love horror games.

 

Speaking of, Dead Space has a 10% off preorder discount. Safe to assume it'll get a punch card in January since EA is really pushing their big titles. If it does, $62 + 5k / 6k points, then I'll redeem at least $25 in MS Rewards... yeah, I'll be fine paying that much for it.

Making it super detailed and locked to 30fps means they didn't understand the project. If cutting the resolution doesn't open options, what are they doing? It might not be technical incompetence but it's some kind. This game thinks it's hot shit and is hopefully in for a rude awakening.

Scorn is just a creepy game that nailed Halloween season for release date. I don't like creepy so not touching it.

Continuing the free EA DLC, I got a code in my Xbox messages for Dead Space DLC.

That's a new Game Pass Ultimate perk as well.
