Got the $5 e-mail last night but the offer was expired already (30 minutes after I received it).
Same thing happened to me.

Definitely check out the movies too, if you like spaghetti westerns. Think Blazing Saddles without as much Mel Brooks-style raunchiness and fourth wall breaks. And Ennio Morricone--who inspired Kubrick to let music define scenes in all of his greatest movies--wrote a good number of their songs.
Pretty sure you can watch the Trinity trilogy on Youtube for free. Probably their best movies. Surprised they were brought back as a game, to be honest.
EDIT: Here's My Name Is Nobody with Henry Fonda -
Another Morricone classic, famous from Will Forte locker room skit on SNL :

Finally got the last punch on the Game Pass punch card. The October games one was the hold-out. I ended up playing 5 different games (Split/Second, Lego Indy, Metro 2033, Shantae, Outlast) for an achievement or two in order to get the damn thing to count. I'm still having nightmares about Outlast (and Shantae).

If you have Game Pass, I recommend checking out Rime. I booted it up just to get an achievement for the punchcard and ended up playing the whole thing. It's not a long game, like 6 hours or so. It def takes some inspiration from Ico but thankfully no helpless companion along for the ride. Puzzles are fun though not super challenging. Platforming isn't frustrating cuz you always respawn more or less right where you died.

Joined Game Pass (for 3 months at least) and decided to start with Halo MCC. I thought I'd just check out the first level of CE to see how the updated graphics look, but now I'm 6 levels in. Anyway, once again I'm struck by how much variety they packed into the game for the time and by how bad the Forerunners were at architecture.

Are there any repercussions for letting my Xbl subscription lapse? I'm about 1k short from cashing in the 12 month reward on Bing and won't make it by October 1st.
Are you sure you can't get 1K points in time? I earn 440 a day just doing the 3 things on the browser dashboard and the bing searches (on my laptop (150 points) and phone (100 points)).

Microsoft Rewards has a "hot deal" on XBL gold: 3 months for 9600 points. I think that's a pretty good discount. I just "spent" 15000 for 3 months. You have until the end of June to earn the 9600 points. If you don't get there, you can earn 1 month for 4900 points.

If you grabbed the new PS+ games, they'll have an expiration date next to them on the account page that is when your PS+ sub expires.
Thanks, Frisky and Laundrymatt too. This works but what a weird way of handling this. Seems like the kind of thing that they'd want you to have access to in your account profile.
