#14403379 Nintendo eShop Deals and Discussions

Posted by Momouchi on 15 June 2021 - 04:56 PM

People are disappointed by Nintendo's upcoming games? We got a deeper look at Mario Golf, new 2D Metroid, SMT V release day, new Warioware, and a BOTW 2 teaser with a 2022 date. Other than BOTW 2 everything is coming out in the next 6 months.

The preorders and cancelling makes this worth it. Hope it still works

Well shit, I didn't get a chance to trade in some games I was done with yesterday and now the values are complete garbage.

They tried to cancel mine but it apparently failed. Hilarious to see the cancellation fail email and the shipping email sent at the same time.

I've wanted to try out this game for a while. $25 works for that. If it isn't fun, you will probably be able to sell it for basically the same price.

They finally got me to buy some bulk pre-owned games with that 5/50% deal. I was vibing for some Dynasty Warriors mayhem and saw Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate fell under that deal. Ended up with that, Maneater, Onimusha, and some $1 filler for nearly the same price as without the deal. Thanks for dumping your garbage for cheap GS, I actually got a few good games out of it.

Hope you're wrong only because those indies aren't great (for me) and I selfishly want an amazing bundle

As far as I know, there is no trade bonus right now. I tried towards Watchdogs and my brother tried towards Cyberpunk. It may have just been disabled for this week though. I'm not sure on that.

I asked my local GS a few days ago when picking up a couple games and they said were trying to discouraging trade-ins right now and there should be bonuses after all the Black Friday madness.

All I know is whenever Fedex is involved with any package of mine, they go from point A-B-C-D-E-D-E-C-delivered. Just cut out the middle section and they wouldn't be a week late.

Went in for AC:V and Yakuza at $33 and an Atelier Ryza 2 for $40. A bit pricy but these are three of my favorite series so I'm glad they all worked.

Fedex is the only company that has sent my packages between two different state mutlple times (neither the state I lived in or it originated in) and delivered me boxes they've damaged and tried to tape up. They are bad at their job. Pre-pandemic and currently, they are awful.

Video rental stores still existed? I haven't seen one open in a decade.

I'd say it is easily worth about $25 if it is your style of game. It is an incomplete story but the game itself feels like a complete game and was really enjoyable.

Gamestop is going to have a problem with these X% trade-ins toward pre-orders when tons of people buy the diskless consoles and aren't buying physical games.

I almost lost my house last year to those wildfires that broke out in October.  Fires reached about 10 feet from my front door, but luckily the fire department and luck were on our side.  It was at that point I don't need all these physical games, and decide to go digital in case I did ever run into a similar situation.  I'm just glad we didn't lose our house and everything in it.

Yup. I can toss the console and my desktop in the car with the dogs/supplies and save the vast majority of my valuable non-furniture items. Not 100% digital but certainly makes it easier to pare down physical stuff in case of emergency. I live in a hurricane area so I a plan if we ever need to evacuate.
