They should have done 1 per person. At least until the second batch. Then do two.
1,900 copies of River City Melee and 2 per person, get ready for the artificially created blood bath everyone, courtesy of LRG!

I think your LRG comments were spot on. LRG caters to scalpers, they could make more copies or second runs but they won't due to complaints and threats.
I just want to convey that I'm not at all trying to talk bad about LRG, not even trying to make you guys out to be bad guys, I just thoroughly enjoy what Nicalis puts out.
I don't even mean to convey that I "hate" that you are doing Switch releases, I just mean to convey that it adds to the stress... especially on my wallet.

Why do people assume Nintendo purposefully creates a shortage with production? There's two sides to supply and demand, and it doesn't profit them to not sell as much. It just makes no sense.
With the release of the SNES, there should be no shortages. They know they underproduced for the NES, so now they should be able to adjust and produce the right amount. If it happens twice, then we have to assume that they limit stock on purpose. Because there is more than enough information to give a better estimate of demand now than their was before.
One thing that I noticed was that with the NES there were a lot of third party companies who produced accessories, however they could never sell them due to Nintendo not having enough supply.

So Newegg just randomly put up a bunch of NES Classics for sale on eBay at Scalper prices $239.99 each. Wow. I did not think a company like Newegg would do such a thing. Looks like they were hoarding NES Classics all this time and decided to wait it out to sell for the highest amount. What a scum bag thing to do. No wonder they never had them on sale on their Website. They were too busy keeping them refusing to sell it at $59.99. Something tells me the SNES mini is going to be a mess at trying to buy at normal prices.
Newegg is a horrible place to buy anything from.
