Family Video prices are live.  Just picked up two Switch games at the cheapest I've ever seen them - Captain Toad for $19.99 and Minecraft for $9.99.

Finally, both seasons of Chihayafuru are mine!  Man, I've been holding out on those forever.

So I received two games from my order today, Luigi's Mansion and WarioWare Gold.  The package was strangely heavy for two 3DS games, but when I opened it I found out why - both games were shipped to me in plastic security cases which I can't open.  Awesome.  Way to go, Target.

Great price, but I'll wait for a complete edition.

The Destiny 2 promo seems really erratic online.  I was able to get a free XBox One copy of Destiny 2 just now with a preorder of Salt and Sanctuary for Switch, but I can't seem to get either version to pair with a Tomb Raider preorder, or even with an order of an in-stock game (Yoku's Island Express).  Lame.

Ah, I figured it out now. Destiny 2 is automatically added to your cart as long as you're ordering a PS4 or XBox One game, whereas it has to be added manually to your cart for the system of your choice if you order a Switch game.

I'm thinking about it. I had a lot of fun with the first one, but with the Definitive Edition coming, the trade value of it will stay higher (on-disc DLC, vs. one-time digital code) when I finish with it. It'll probably be $30-40 at Black Friday, like the base game did right after launch.

It's already been established that the Definitive Edition will also have the DLC included as a code, not on-disc.

Well, this worked out pretty well for me - I traded in my vanilla version for just over $12, and then picked up the complete edition for just under $16.

Preorders for the Mega Man Amiibo Edition are also available in store.

Is there a phone number I can call for Funimation Support regarding a damaged item they sent me? I ordered Blood Blockade Battlefront and it arrived with what sounds like loose plastic shards rattling around inside, so I put in a support ticket. 20 days later (this past Tuesday), I received a response asking that I send a "picture of the damage"; I responded as calmly as possible that this isn't a problem you can see since the case is sealed but the plastic pieces are distinctly heard when I shift the case from side to side. I haven't gotten a response back yet.

 

I didn't expect Funimation to suck this badly when it comes to customer service.

At least they didn't cancel your order and then lie to you about the reason it was canceled, I guess?  Funimation Store support is the hottest of hot garbage.

 

In other news, I hope Sentai enjoys my $200, because hot damn, I finally pulled the trigger on Space Brothers and a bunch of other stuff.

Did all females employed at GameStop quit and become cam models on IG or something? Suddenly I never see chicks behind the counter or pumping me to preorder stuff anymore.

Maybe they got fed up with all the sleazeballs referring to them as "chicks" and left to find better employment where they wouldn't be ogled all day.

Well, shit. I tried redeeming my Monster Hunter World code this evening, and it tells me that it's already been redeemed. It sure as hell wasn't redeemed by me!
