Prepare for disappointment. Just got an e-mail from Sony; Playstation Summer Sale starts this Wednesday.
If insiders are to be believed, the reason sales suck is because they're invite only. Sony cherry picks who goes on sale based on their own metrics, not popular demand. Business-wise, it's smart. Consumer-wise, they're just another company who just wants your money.

I've looked around the internet and don't see any recent (or useful) information. Is there any way to take a PS4 soundtrack and copy it to USB for play outside of the PS4? Specifically I'm talking about Infamous: Second Son. Since it plays in its own app I doubt I can copy it, but if I can I'd like to.
You can copy it with Limewire.

When I can play Insomniac, Naughty Dog, Santa Monica and Sucker Punch games on Game Pass I'll take a look at it. Gamepass is in itself an amazing deal, but Microsoft hasn't released many quality games since the 360. I suspect 2 or 3 years from now some of these 1st party investments Microsoft has made will start releasing great games, until that time comes Microsoft is behind both Sony and Nintendo when it comes to games I enjoy.
Yep, and I've never cared about any MS first-party games either. The studios you listed off are one-trick ponies now under Sony's guidance; being forced to regurgitate the same games over and over as they're only interested in blockbusters now.
Sony has a new real threat: management.

Some of the games are only on sale until 2PM PT. Or at least Zelda BotW shows up as such for $50 (MEH). Never seen them do such a short sale on a games heh.
Big ole pile of nothing IMO. Valhalla for $27 after 10% off coupon isn't even great, but the game is worth it regardless.

Im seriously considering selling my ps5. Haven’t played it in weeks, and I don’t see the need to hold on to it if I don’t play it soon.
I regret not selling when it peaked at $1200 on the low end two weeks before Christmas. Game Pass is just too easy to have an infinite library of games to play. Hell, I may even try MLB the Show just because.
Outriders is pretty legit though. . .

If your store has them, the new $30 MTG challenger decks dropped this month and usually contain cards worth more than the box itself. If you buy three decks and some filler toy, you can get a deck almost free. Azorius Control being the most profitable if you just want a few of the cards and sell the rest. Skyclave Apparitions are like $12 each and the box has two, on top of a few other $5-10 rares.

Anyone playing Valheim? Worth the hype?
I like the game, but it is rather light on gameplay still. It definitely does its genre right, with character progression being the carrot but I'm still wondering if it feels too familiar by now. Maybe I've just been spoiled by Terraria in being able to transform worlds into pieces of art on the side to keep things feeling fresh between grinding sessions, or the years of balancing that make the meta shine.
I would say the game is definitely going places, but it may just take a few years to get there.

Oh boy! Another poncho!
JFC that game lmao. I had forgotten all about no fast travel and the endless supply of ponchos. Having just played Demon's Souls and Valhalla (still playing actually), I can safely say my decision to quit that shit cold turkey 10 hours in was justified. It wasn't even close to deserving all that mouth service it got, and IDC how damn desperate reviewers were to call a Star Wars game good again.
Star Wars: Unleashed was even a better game, hands down.

Any drops today? Its Monday
Hate to say it but I doubt anyone cares anymore. Christmas is over, the window to flip them has closed, and I -think- demand here has almost been satiated. I think for the most part people have quietly retreated to now instock alert sites if they're still trying to get one.

I am not too impressed with the Series X so far. I expected it to be familiar but this feels exactly like a One X. Oh and Fallout 76 is taking way too long to download. I have no idea what is going on but I started it 3 hours ago and it's only at 27%. I had an issue with the screen going black every 10 min or so but that appears to be solved by a quick google search. Just had to click on one video setting and adjust another. So far I have only played Fallout 3 and I was really impressed with how my One X ran it and it's even better now. I would have hoped that the console would download games quicker but maybe it's just a weird thing with 76. I have fast internet. Up to 100 but I usually average 50-60.
What are some tips and tricks to make this feel more like a brand new console? I really wanted to see how much faster/load times were and if FO76 played any smoother/ran better but I will have to wait until I wake up. Are there still bugs with the OS? For those that had this at launch, has it improved in certain areas? What things still need to be ironed out?
I think lack of impression is more jarring for anyone that doesn't game on a PC as well. I was only expecting a hardware upgrade from the move to an XSX, and for only $500? People spend more on a graphics card. My impression has been excellent, for both new consoles based on capability alone. That said I should have sold my PS5 when the market was hot. I beat Demon's Souls and literally haven't turned the PS5 on since. Too much Valhalla and Game Pass games to get through.
