Are those words going to be "Tactics Advance was better, Marche is my homeboy"?
If anyone says that they need to be banned immediately so they can't infect others with their shit taste.

The issue at hand is a "Several years later" epilogue of a single path.
You can watch it here: https://sendvid.com/39ldd924
SpoilerWhat it comes down to is implications. It's supposed to be a good outcome for everybody, but it looks like for Erica her life was "fixed" by living as a gay man instead of a transgender woman. Atlus isn't exactly known to have a good track record of LGBT issues but that's a whole different level of insensitivity.
Most Japanese games, anime and media as a whole don't buy into our current societal gender politics because it's not a priority over there. They cater to their immediate consumers instead of grandstanding for causes that gets them nowhere financially. People who play these kinds of games and expect Japanese ideals to conform to their own need to see the world for what it is instead of what it thinks it owes them.

Some people simply refuse to do MMOs. That's on them. They have chosen to ignore some of the most noteworthy experiences in the history of gaming (WoW, FF14) then they're not going to suddenly change now. Seems to be mostly a console gamer thing though. Anyone who buys digital PC games online wouldn't have a problem starting a game like FF14.
As someone has already said, my main problem with MMOs isn't the monthly price, it's the time sink. It's pretty counterintuitive to commit to one when I've got dozens of games piling up in the backlog. Not to mention the obligation you feel to play them when you are paying for them, because if you're paying $15 a month for the service, it's essentially just throwing your money away if you don't log on and play as much as you can in your spare time.

The most telling thing about all these numbers is how many of you didn't play Dragon Quest 11!
Maybe it's just me, but as much as I love the gameplay, the music is fucking terrible and keeps me from going back to it. It was charming when I started the game, but that quickly faded and turned into some nails on a chalkboard nightmare. I'm hoping the Switch version has the symphonic suite version of the soundtrack.

I honestly think pricing of games should go up in general anyway. $69.99 or $79.99 for next gen games would be find with me. The fact that they arent yet is one of the main reasons for all these stupid add ons you need to pay for. Because pricing of games have not been adjusted in years, this was the work around. DLC.
That's fucking bullshit. Games are way too expensive for what you get these days. Companies are never satisfied with just making a complete product. They need the nickel and dime afterward to milk people dry. You think that paying an extra $10 or $20 is going to stop companies from making GOTY versions or selling you a season pass for a game that hasn't even gone gold yet? No fucking way. PC gaming at the turn of the century was getting expansion packs for already complete games. I was excited when I heard consoles were going to be getting that treatment too with the advent of DLC, but all it did was give game companies an excuse to release a fraction of a game and sell you the rest later. Capcom already has a history of doing this with SFxTk and SFV.
RE2 looks good, and I'll play it eventually, but there's no way in hell I'm paying $60 ($48) to play it day one when I know it's just gonna be $30 or less in a few weeks.
This is why I'd rather support games that take a consumer friendly approach to game design:
