I've had it pre-ordered on Steam for a couple months now. Only three more weeks.

FRAPS still wrecks my FPS when recording, whether I have the files set to save to my main SSD, or my storage HDD.
If you have an nVidia GPU, Shadowplay is the definite way to go. It barely affects your performance, maybe 2-3 FPS.

My friends and I were talking about this the other night. Most people we've encountered have been surprisingly friendly. Currently sitting at 19 hours played and I've come across maybe half a dozen people who have KOS'd.
Here are the patch notes for tonights patch - http://www.reddit.co...d_downtime_120/
Some really good stuff, mainly the fix to containers. I kinda figured something was up as I've literally never found a single thing in a refrigerator or cabinets. Hopefully this alleviates the issue of everyone on a server gravitating to the police station to get weapons. I like that that is sort of an end goal, but as it stands now that's almost literally the only place to arm yourself.
The melee damage changes are welcome too.

- You will not get level 70 drops.
- All damage modifiers apply to spells as well.
Did some crafting earlier and made this amazing bow.
I forgot to hold CTRL when I took the screenshot, but the damage roll is only 10 shy of max, and the attack speed and damage against elites is maxed. It originally rolled with vitality, but I rolled it into dexterity, then used my Rams Gift to add the socket. It's pretty much perfect. Now I just need to work on finishing my Marauders set.

Derp, that never even crossed my mind.
Sorry to keep asking these newb questions. How much of this 2.1 affects standard D3?
Uhh...probably none of it. Seasons, Rifts/Greater Rifts, Leaderboards, etc... are not present at all in vanilla. The only thing that would probably be affected would just be the character balance. There is literally zero reason to just buy vanilla D3. You can get both combined for like $40 at Best Buy right now. Either do that, or don't bother.

I truly get enjoyment out of watching all the people who are on red and purple cry about the teams being fixed now that green is winning decidedly. It was perfectly fair yesterday, when all the top crafters/badge makers defected to purple or red to increase their odds, but now that they're losing the fix has to be in? Lmao.

The entire way they setup the whole teams thing is really stupid. It should be one of two ways. 1.) You get randomly assigned a new team each day or 2.) There are no stupid team swap tokens. The fact that all the top crafters/badge makers conspired together to all join purple is super lame.

Some of them were ridiculous to get. Like the one that's a rare drop in Whimseyshire which itself is a pain in the ass to get to because that fucking gibbering gemstone you need to make that staff never drops even though they claimed to patch Chiltara appearing at a higher rate.
Seriously. I cant count how many hours I spent trying to farm the Gibbering Gemstone only to find out the drop rate on it was bugged. Then they said they fixed it, so I probably sunk another 6-8 hours into farming it only to still get nothing.

PS3 controller works just fine with MotioninJoy. It winds up functioning exactly as a 360 controller, so it just winds up coming down to whether the game supports a 360 controller or not (most games now do).
I've not tried a PS4 controller, so I cant speak on that.

Combo of both. Paragon levels do start helping once you hit 100 or so. I just hit 180 and I'm getting 45% extra crit damage, almost 4K extra LOH, 225 Resist All, and 22.5% additional movespeed. The crit and resist definitely helps out quite a bit.
That being said, I've also spent quite awhile piecing gear together. Keep in mind set bonuses. I'm currently getting 8% additional attack speed from having two pieces of Cains set, and 250 additional dexterity from having two pieces of Natalyas set. Take a look at the various sets of gear and find one or two that work well for what you're trying to do and work towards those. The free bonuses to your stats can be a big boost.

I'm having a tough time with the Demon Hunter. I pretty much have to play it on two levels lower than I do every other class so clearly I am doing it wrong.
I'm pretty much exclusively playing DH on Hardcore right now. Here is a screenshot of my characters stat sheet.
Here is my character page showing my current gear:
I can play T2 fine with this setup. I mainly tried to focus more on resist all and to a degree, armor, instead of vitality. Vitality is what a lot of people like to call "fake toughness" in that it will inflate the hell out of your toughness number, but it wont really allow you to effectively take a hit. Also, both cit damage and crit chance are HUGE for the DH, which is why I dual-wield so that I can get that extra crit damage. I'm also currently working toward a third Natalyas piece (or that damn Ring of Grandeur) to get the free 7% crit chance.

Diablo drops a guaranteed legendary on first kill at level 60, but only at level 60. The act 1, 2, and 3 bosses drop a guaranteed legendary if you kill them below level 60. You wind up killing 1, 2, and 3 at 59 to get the highest possible legendary, Diablo at 60 for another one, then level to 70 and then kill Malthiel. That's the most effective way of doing it.
