I had similar things happen on orders for items priced under $10. Like someone else said, I think it ends up mixing in a buy 4 for $20 deal. My suggestion is to do two separate transactions. One with items in the $10-20 range (ideally all the same price) and then another for the items priced $5-8. Try to get the orders over $35 for free shipping.
Thank you for the response. This is exactly what is going on. Looks like the 4 for 20 deal goes till the 31st and the buy 2 get 2 goes till the 1st (according to the GS app). I will try and wait this one out.

Same dilemma. I just...can't part with it..it's such a great looking system
Yep. I sold my Pikachu XL that I got on release day to get the LBW one, no regrets. I think I'll just hold onto it.
I'm considerig using the game CE to trade for the system as well if I can't get my hands on one. I'm waiting till release though to see if I can snag one.
There are quite a few people who've messaged me, so if you do need to go that route you should have no problem doing that on here.

My friend who works at GS swore that nationwide today (Tuesday) they were getting new Pre-Orders of MM 3DSXL, but looks like things didn't turn out that way.
Thanks to all the kind Caggers who messaged me about trading my LE Majora's Mask Game + $180 for the system. It's really awesome that so many people had messaged me. I'm going through them in order and will let everyone know. Thanks.
Now I gotta decide what to do with my Zelda ALBW XL. Maybe I'll just keep it for homebrew stuff.

I was trying to think of something that seemed fair. People can negotiate with me of course though. I'd personally rather have the system than the big Skull Kid Figurine.
Pretty good deal
I actually still have a Majoras Mask Burger King toy from when I was a kid.

I can afford more than you, I can guarantee that. I spend my money on better things like Premium cable, jerseys, fancy meals, a big home and travel. I work for a top 5 Fortune company and have a MBA from a top tier university but then you will say I am making it up since I am some dude on the internet.
Seriously, get off your high horse.

i'm going to add another the third best posts are the ones who defend the "accidental" double orders as a possibility. i shouldn't talk, i actually got struck by lightning twice. Well actually once, the first time a key on my kite saved me. The second time, i learned to dodge it a 100x and got an ultimate weapon.
It actually happened to me. Mozilla will auto refresh a tab if it's been long enough once it goes in focus again. Legitimately it happened to me a half hour after I made my first order because the tab was open.

You misunderstand me. I understand full well why Sony actually went ahead and made these and the whole concept behind limited editions and the effect they have. I collect limited edition's in a bunch of different collectibles markets including statues, prints, and even have a couple pieces of limited edition furniture (my wife!). What I don't understand is how someone would fall for the whole limited edition thing when it comes to electronics like video game machines. Again, I just don't get it and thankfully never will.
As for the Sony history thing, as I said before if your going to stick it in a closet and not use it....well, that is something else entirely, but the minute you turn these on and start using them, they are going to depreciate just like everyone else's PS4's. Nobody is going to be spending premium amounts on used limited edition consoles when the next generation comes around. Just not a smart purchase in my book, but to each their own. I'll go the spray paint route and put the money into a limited edition thats actually going to appreciate in value. And lets be perfectly honest here, 12,000 isn't that limited at all. I could see people going gaga over 500 to 1000, but 12,000? There will be plenty of these around for a long time to come.
Actually LE consoles have higher resell value than standard ones. I paid $160 for my Pikachu 3DS XL and when the Zelda edition came out, I sold my Pikachu XL and got around $250 for it used. Something this scarce will always fetch a high price. I'm going to play one of mine though, that one's for me to enjoy.
