Saw the movie last night- I was surprised at my disappointment. As an actor in LA, I was stoked for this, but it just did not hold up it's end of the bargain. But people got work and it made money, so alls well that ends well
So if you were not an actor in LA or at least maybe an actor just not in LA would it have been better?

Debating between The Surge: Complete Edition, Castlevania: Harmony of Despair and its DLC, DeBlob 2 (to play with the kids) and X-Morph Defense. I can probably only get two of those four options. Any thoughts on which route to go? Would appreciate any advice. Thanks.
It depends on if you want solo gameplay or co-op.
The Surge is a bit like Dark Souls but not as polished. The main issue I had was the areas felt very similar and the character control felt off. You can select specific body parts to dismember which was nifty.
Castlevania: Harmony of Despair is not a typical Castlevania game. More of an arcade-style kill the enemies and get to the boss in the time limit and kill him. I can't recall if your character can level up or get better gear. It can be fun with the right co-op partner. I never played the DLC for it so I'm not sure what all it adds aside from a few characters and levels. It's not backward compatible and your guess is as good as anyone else's if it will ever go that way.
I played the first DeBlob and I had some fun with it not sure if anything has changed for the second one I assume it's more of the same just different levels. What I played was fun in short burst it got very repetitive at times and had me wishing the levels were shorter. In the first game if you did not 100% the level before completing it when you went back into it you had to start over from scratch which made me say screw it and stop playing.
X-Morph I've never played sorry so I can't give an opinion.

it has an interesting story, the shooting isn't great, but I enjoyed the game, especially at the cheap price it normally is.
It's what I consider to be an underrated FPS because it wasn't named Call of Duty of Battlefield. It is solid game that's very much worth playing even if just once. It approaches darker side of war and what it means to be a soldier/hero and question which side and cause one is fighting for and on.
Of course this is just my opinion and others may have a completely different interpretation of it.
Exactly the insight I was looking for thank you, going to add it to the backlog.

Does Nintendo actually need our support? It's not like they are hurting for money like some small indie or niche game developer. With the way, Nintendo has always handled product releases and their shortages seem more like people shouldn't support crap practices like that.

Thanks. I want to be somewhat blind but I’ve had a hard time finding tips and information that I want to know. I like having a plan I terms of character type and stats.
Depending on the build you want you can pick a build at the beginning and then change it to your liking as you play. I'd also check the Reddit Darksouls board they have some good help there.
