At least for the Amazon rewards card, I have found it is better to make the purchase with the card you have reward points on and then use the points after the purchase as a statement credit. That way you still get the 5% back in points on the purchase and the exchange rate of points is the same if it is applied to the order or as a statement credit. Just a tip, not sure if the card you use is the same way. But definitely a good way to get some "free" gaming stuff.

I do statement credit for the ones where you earn "cash", but the Best Buy one is just for space bucks so you have to redeem the certs pre purchase.

I buy everything with a credit card and pay off the balance each month. We literally go on vacations each year with reward miles. I have never paid a dime in interest. There's ways to use credit to your advantage. I'd be embarrassed to be the guy paying for everything in cash and using a debit card online.

I save the reward points and cash them in to buy consoles. I did buy my PS5 outright, but I used points for my OLED switch and PS4. So long as you pay them off each month cards can be great to get "free" stuff.

Anybody who collects games that doesn't have a bottle of goo gone for removing stickers easily is doing it wrong.

I feel like you can never get the goo gone residue off the case. I honestly think peeling the sticker and using them to get the leftovers is a better method most of the time. But, yes sometime goo gone is the only way even if it leaves some residue.

open cubivore!

I have so many sealed games I want to play, but cannot bring myself to open them even though I have no intention of selling them. CAG life...

I was actually shocked to see a sealed Cubivore is under a thousand bucks.
