#14366307 15% off PSN and XBL purchases when paying via Cash App

Posted by BudzMcGee on 31 December 2020 - 02:30 PM

Might be worth trying to stack this even further with BeFrugal's 7% cash back for Microsoft Store (which does work when buying stuff for Xbox).  Tip to those trying this, put stuff you want to buy in your cart then go to befrugal, go through the link to check out.  Reduces chances of referral link not working in my experience.

#14365825 Free Disney Movie Rewards Codes Worth 100 points

Just calling out all the codes in the photo are still valid (in case anyone thought the date implied only good for that date).  Thanks everyone for posting, just redeemed like 50 points in codes.

#14362212 List of all FREE Xbox Live Marketplace content (2.0)

Did this only run for 3 days?

They set this up kind of weird. Every day the main URL redirects to a new day specific URL. Today's is https://register.ubi...2020-day4/en-US (It's a copy of Trials Rising for PC today).

Thanks for the info.  I neglected to state that we don't game enough to justify GamePass or GP Ultimate though we do have Gold which is why I am looking at purchasing Minecraft directly.  Between a handful of purchased games and GWG we tend to have enough content to keep us going :-) Of course MS could get rid of Gold as they seem to be potentially phasing it out but so far Gold is enough for us.  Thanks again!

Looks like a code is only $8 on CDKeys right now: https://www.cdkeys.c...ecraft-xbox-one

They have some other DLC packs for pretty cheap too.  I recommend using paypal with them but never had a problem purchasing a key from them.

#14336468 Nintendo eShop Deals - 12/24: Holiday Sales!

Since we are on the topic (side note, thanks for those posting about the free games), question for you all.  How many of you would generally be interested in youtube reviews of super cheap e-shop games?  Like say focusing only on games that are or have been under $5 at some point?  No need to comment (don't want to distract too much from this thread) but if that would be of interest give a like?

#14332946 Best Buy Deal of the Day, $5.99 PS4 and Xbox One Games

Posted by BudzMcGee on 07 October 2020 - 08:23 PM

Ordered Metal Wolf Chaos, Mothergunship and Yoku. Wish the price for Yoku is also for Switch. I think will be more fun playing portable. Didn't care much for Bridge Constructor Portal. Thanks op.

Love Yoku's Island Express but I think I'd have actually hated using a smaller portable screen for it.  Highly recommended at $6 for any platform though.

I'm surprised that Nintendo packaged those two games at this time. The install base for Mario Kart 8 is so high that I can't imagine there are that many people looking for both Mario Kart 8 and Mario Party still. Feels more like something you'd expect with a special holiday bundle or something.

#14327574 Target Red Card deals: Xbox Series X: $475, Xbox Series S: $285

Posted by BudzMcGee on 22 September 2020 - 03:39 PM

Also found this nice little surprise this morning (I had planned to order from Best Buy but their site still says coming soon).  Nice that the 5% redcard deal and the 5% bonus redcard coupon stacked on this for $48 off.  Also had two $5 gift cards from something I don't really remember saved to my account.

I'll take 10% off vs 5% back in rewards at Best Buy.

Well that was entirely predictable and pretty par the course for Nintendo.

#14324923 Free Disney Movie Rewards Codes Worth 100 points

MULAN for 15 free Disney Movie Insiders Points.

Thanks!

Physical Rewards are returning September 16th!

Hope they have plenty of stock. Im sure some things will sell fast. Especially movie posters.

I don't know what I expected but was still kind of bummed to log in yesterday and see that the new rewards were mostly just all the stuff they didn't rid of before they switched sites. haha

Anybody think the new version of the Switch might be getting released in March or April, and that's why these are all a limited time, because Nintendo wants us buying new games and new consoles, and not stuff for the original Switch anymore? I mean when the Switch came out, they pulled all unsold Wii U consoles and 95% of Wii U games from the shelves at most stores.

Well, March 3, 2021 is the four year birthday of the Switch, and at least when it comes to consoles, they tend to run them in a four to five year console cycle at Nintendo. I know that they usually support their handhelds slightly longer, but nothing is really keeping them from having the Switch Lite on the market, while they also have a new 4K console that can run the same kind of third party titles that the Series X and PS5 will be getting, and maybe for cheaper. I think a $350 or $400 4K console from Nintendo would blow Sony and Microsoft out of the water price wise. It would also be nice to maybe finally get a Nintendo console that starts out with 1tb of harddrive space in it. Though, knowing Nintendo, they'll probably just do 64gb, and call it a day.

I'm not going to go so far as to say that there is no way Nintendo is going to effectively shelve the OG Switch in March but I would be absolutely shocked.  The switch has sold insanely well and is continuing to sell incredibly well and is probably going to outsell the Wii eventually.  Killing the original Switch to replace it (by which I mean launching a new switch as a full "replacement" and not just an optional upgrade) at this point and time makes almost no business sense.

Whoa, anyone else notice you can now add games to your wishlist from Nintendo.com?

Anyway, thanks everyone for pointing out yet another free game from that dev.

Bakugan is still a thing? I remember my nephew being into that for like 3 months 10 years ago.
