I lucked out and found an online return of that Star Destroyer at Target in late November, marked down 30%; my wife split the cost with me, too.

Then my dad bought me the Millennium Falcon as a Christmas gift.

Just finished the Star Destroyer right before the holiday - such a fun build, and looks amazing when complete. Just building the Tantive IV I bought during the holiday sale at the LEGO store, and then ringing in 2021 with the Falcon.

Gonna have that Coliseum one day, for sure!

I really enjoyed it. Took a while to get the hang of it, but it's one of the very few Souls-like games to actually try something new (ie. Shells you inhabit and upgrade instead of leveling your character; very unique combat mechanic with the Hardening ability; great design all around).

I was hooked, and my disappointment was that it was too short. For a $30 game, it's absolutely stunning how high quality it is.

If you enjoy the Souls games, this is probably the best take on the formula yet, in my opinion.

Hopefully they add more titles...I'm dead set on getting CoD, Godfall and either Sackboy or Spider-Man MM for PS5...but the first party titles aren't part of it here or at Target.

I flipped when I saw that Ori set, because in the direct it looked like it included two Steelbooks.

Then I went to the site. Saw the price tag; saw the lack of Steelbooks; saw the audacity to only give digital soundtracks instead of CDs. Then, I saw that they are going to have regular editions available at retail later this year as well.

Sorry iam8bit...I'll wait for the cheaper standalone carts. $150 is ABSURD for that.

That Camelot dude has a very annoying twang to his voice. That dude and Fantavision literally just make videos of them bashing Gamestop. Having worked there myself for years, granted this was back in 2004-2010, the company does a lot of shady things and they do treat the employees pretty poorly at times, but at the end of the day they are far from the worst place to work. It's retail and most of those jobs aren't great. I actually got fired from Gamestop over something stupid too and long story short, I ended up getting unemployment for several years after the whole incident which was great because I almost made more money from the unemployment than I did as the Assistant Store Manager.

I'd hate to see Gamestop go under as it's one of the best places to buy video games. We don't have very many options where I live outside larger chains like Target, Best Buy, etc. There are a few smaller mom and pop shops around, but they are all grossly overpriced. Gamestop has had some solid deals and has become the best store for deals since GCU died.

Walmart is the best since GCU died...new releases available for 16-20% off on day 1.

Hoping against all odds that Mario Maker 2 becomes part of it tomorrow...

I have this laptop but I got mine for $380 w/ tax a year ago. No issues and it's an amazing laptop if you can get it or find another with similar specs.

It's a very good mid-range gaming laptop. It plays last gen titles (far cry 3, skyrim, dmc, valkryia chronicles, witcher 2, etc.) at med to high settings and this gen indie games (fornite, telltale games, owlboy, steamworld dig 2, hollow knight, inside, etc.) at low to med settings pretty good with no issues.

Can it run Oculus?

Microsoft's biggest problem with the next Xbox won't be pricing, or whether it has a disc drive or not. It will be with quality exclusives - something the Xbox One has been lacking tremendously. After about year 2, the system has had very little going for it.

LOL at the notion of physical games being history by 2025. Physical media is forever. There will always be a market.
