Ordered dishonored 2 the other day and the version I got I'm assuming is the UAE version because it had a PEGI rating and had arabic writing on the back. New and sealed. I didn't get it from warehouse deals, ordered it on mobile from the main dishonored 2 page.
Amazon's standards are slipping. I guess its region free but I know other region games can cause DLC issues, and it can't be traded in to gamestop in the states here.
Same thing happened to me. Wife ordered Nier Automata directly from the main page as a B-Day gift, came with the PEGI rating on the front. It was at least was dual language Eng/French on the back cover, but still, can't use the DLC so back it goes.
A few of us had issues with Infinite Warfare a few weeks back where AWD, third-party sellers, and Amazon themselves were all selling European versions of the game. I've also received a Spider-Man 2 from a third party seller recently that was the incorrect region. Dunno why it's been happening with such frequency on Amazon lately. I just left negative feedback for the seller and returned the game.
I specifically remembered seeing that happen here and I think on SD as well, for CoD:IW. Honestly surprised it's a problem general stock now, and not just a fluke with IW. Whoever is doing their wholesale orders is definitely not doing a good job.
