My positive interest in Survive directly correlates to my disappointment with V.

The Destiny sub-reddit and Bungie.net forums are both currently in open revolt after (but not only because of) the XP throttling scandal.

It's a great price, but I STRONGLY urge people not to buy Destiny 2.

Googleing "features missing from destiny 2" will show even the die-hard fan of D1 that D2 is a severely lacking product, as well as some grossly shady shit Bungie has pulled.

losing PT sucks, but since it was free people really don't have a legit complaint for losing it because you gave up nothing to have it

I see Destiny for PS4/X1 on there. Is that worth it at 20 with 3 other old ass games?

If you buy the base game you'll need to shell out ~$80 to get the expansions ala cart, which are absolutely essential to enjoying the game. Just buy The Taken King Legendary Edition, which is the current version of the game for ~$35-40 and it includes all the DLC to date.

Sounds like your friend is willfully stupid, and a bit emotionally unstable if they get that upset at you for pointing out one store had an item at a lower price.

Just a matter of opinion. I didn't love it but it wasn't so bad, just one the top layer of average.

And you don't "hate being that guy" because you went to a lot of trouble to be that guy, just admit you like disagreeing with people, accept yourself and move on.

It sure did take a lot of effort to politely express my opinion.

Already had the PS4 demo, so wasn't able to add demo to cart (just option to download to PS4). Everything showed up as full price otherwise, so no dice if you already had the demo.

Played about 5 matches, didn't like a single second of it. Seems incredibly simplistic/watered down, almost to the point of reminding me of playing mobile-phone FPS games (numberz ERRY'Where). SW Battlefront felt strikingly similar in its gunplay to be honest, and that's not a good thing.

This seems like a misguided attempt to "recapture" the feel of old school doom, while ignoring any of the innovations that came from iD's later games. Don't get me wrong, I love the original DOOM games....this is nothing like them.

We'll see if the single-player ends up being fun, at least. Other wise, I don't recommend going out of your way to hit up Gamestop for this.

Also I'm finding it hilarious how hard Autorifles were nerfed from vanilla, because we "overwhelmingly used them too much", which then turned into "lets keep slowly buffing auto rifles and nerfing everything else".

Bungie continues to prove they know -all about weapon balancing, and just provides swinging flavor-of-the-xpac buffs to a specific weapon.

Oh, and while we're on the subject....i want to slap the person who thought it was smart to put "do bonus dmg to ______ enemy" perks on weapons that don't match the element of that _____ enemy. That shit was stupid in House of Wolves, and it's still stupid now.

Honestly, like 60% of the perks are garbage anyways.

Totally worth the week plus of grinding to get those unlocked, but I guess I'll be ready for reset tomorrow.

For those who want a tl;dr = Shadow Shot (hunter) + Melting Point (titan) DO NOT STACK. Weapons of Light + everything else does.

Gunslingers have a perk in their skilll tree that gives you super fast. Its also the best perk on that column to use.

 

Ive had matches where ive gotten 4 supers in one 5 round trials game. So its not unheard of.
