Talking about what the $5 coupon works on is like one of 2-3 things worth talking about in this thread.

Just out of curiosity, does referral credit expire?

On mobile app go to profile, settings, payment methods, click on store credit, and it should say when each of your referral credits expire.

Appears to be 1 year after you used somebody else’s referral link and activated your headset or 1 year after you clicked “redeem” after somebody used your referral.

You're lucky, online it shows that they completely cancelled my order, but my trade card was charged $335.

Cool, so technically, you could flip up to 16 copies of this and 8 copies of Avengers this week? Not too shabby...

Sounds right (i.e. 4 sku's with a limit of 4 copies/sku).

 

That's a lot of different GS stores you're going to be going to though. I mean I guess you could trade in 1 copy per platform at the same store in the same transaction but that is probably gonna get you some unnecessary attention.

No. People only ordered the standalone Xbox Series S AND Xbox Series S Fortnite bundle for $309.99, BUT they are now getting charged either an additional $299.99 (the price of the Xbox Series S Fortnite bundle), $44.99 (the price of 3-Months Game Pass Ultimate), or both.

I'm sure they can but what kinda person would even try to stop a $3000+ sale. Absolutely foolish and glad upper management told her so. I'm not even mad at her more at GameStop for the quality of people they've filled my store with.

I think they have something in their terms and conditions on the website about resellers/buying in bulk. Probably applies to in-store as well.

True, but this is yet another case of some GS employee who does what they want, creating nonsensical issues or being a PITA for no real reason.

Got a email saying Series S is preparing for shipment. From what I understand you guys are saying I can return it in store?

Wanting to return it, get my money back, and wait and see if that second one ever arrives.

I guess you can do that. I'd wait until the other one ships though, that way it doesn't draw unnecessary attention to the other $9.99 if it hasn't yet shipped at the time you return this one. Since I guess the employees can see online order info now, and if you get a Jr. Detective they may say something to somebody higher up about it.

I'd honestly just keep it, or try and sale it at around cost online or locally. That's assuming the other one ships, it it doesn't yeah totally return the full price one in store.

Honestly the less we talk about this deal, the less attention there is to it, the higher chance it goes through.

Probably a good reminder now to always check your receipt when checking out and/or returning. Also sorry if you got screwed on the return but I'd definitely wait until early next week.

I've been shorted on trades (i.e. they didn't scan everything), I've had employees add game protection plans without asking, I've bought games in store and they didn't put the game in the case, I've given the employee my ID for trades and they forgot to give it back, etc.

Best to double check that everything is right before even leaving the store. Seems like a bit much, but it's a minor inconvenience compared to driving home or wherever, and possibly having to explain it to another employee and have them not believe you (or even the same employee and they've already forgot).

Got the conformation email. Now the waiting game begins.

I think there was a glitch 2 years ago, with an Xbox One X, that ended up getting shipped. Can't remember the specifics, but I think people just paid the price of the bundled items and got the X1X for free or something crazy.

I was wrong. It was an  Xbox One X NBA 2k19 bundle for $249.99, that I believe included a free controller, and the bundle was cancelled but some people still got the controller for free.

I couldn’t get into the combat in world ends with you. It was just very repetitive to me. I can see people liking the story but, I guess it just wasn’t for me. I’ll have to go back and try the original game. I was hoping the combat was more like kingdom hearts but. It was completely different. Maybe I’ll just have to try it again.

That was my problem with Final Fantasy XV, was expecting it to play like Kingdom Hearts. When it didn't, I was pretty disappointed. There's really nothing else that plays like Kingdom Hearts (i.e. super quick combat).

If true, that defeats the purpose of buying pretty much anything from GS. Since most people here are sitting on however much trade credit. Otherwise may as well just buy at Best Buy, Walmart, etc. if you're paying with cash.
