The new Mini Gun in the Division 2 is rather fun... Actually, it looks like most of the specialization changes are a good thing. (Sharpshooter got nerfed for non rifle/marksman weapons but that was actually a needed change. And I say that as someone who always used it.)

This is why I never buy a game based on what people say here

Always. You should always form your own opinions and not just in video games.

I started Days Gone today and have been playing for several hours.  It's not The Last of Us, but it's still pretty fun so far.

Sounds like high praise since The Last of Us was pretty much junk.  (Great story but gameplay couldn't sustain it.)

Not sure on PS4.

On Steam, you have to own Borderlands Handsome Collection and you have to go to Commander Lilith DLC page to go claim it.

I got it for free. Not sure what DLC one needs to own as I've never bought the handsome collection.

Chaosbane update: Finished Chapter/Act 2, 8.1 hours in.  level 31 with the elf archer chick.  Still enjoying the hell out of it maybe I would feel different if I could play it everyday (I'm still doing things in the Division must morning, mostly trying to get all the mod blueprints) but I really don't think so.

Borderlands 2 DLC: That free DLC dropped.  Not sure if it has to be added, I tried that and it might finally have worked or if it just needed to patch/update on its own but I know on PS4 its only free for a week or so than it costs 15 bucks.

Devolver Digital announcements:

Fall Guys is coming to PS4 next year:

Please tell me I'm not the only one that was hoping for an spinoff of the old TV show The Fall Guy, right?

Front row was almost certainly Bethesda employees.

That are paid spectators. Either way they are cheering hoping others will follow.

Fuck my fucking asshole. I always miss these time-sensitive deals!

Marvel’s Spider-Man Digital Deluxe Edition - $29.99 - 50% Off - Ends 6/17 (contains base game and all DLC)

Marvel’s Spider-Man - The City That Never Sleeps - $16.49 - 34% Off - Ends 6/17 (contains all DLC if you already own the game)

Definitely a good price on the deluxe edition.

The DLC of what I've played so far (I think I'm through 2 parts of the story) is pretty solid also.

Unless it’s using the 3.5 ruleset with plenty of splatbook support, it absolutely isn’t the adaptation I want.

Read somewhere it was 5e. (Which makes sense, I cannot think of a D&D game that released that wasn't using current rules.)

Warhammer: Chaosbane;  Just finished act one, took over 4 hours I would assume closer to 5 hours, the boss battle for the end of Act 1 was truly amazing and very, very challenging.  Honestly, I had heard the boss battles were good but I wasn't expecting it to be that good.

They have a new patch (fixes) and new end game mode coming out soon.

Awesome!
Gives me more reason to want Diablo on GOG, since I don't have Hellfire.
Never thought I'd see this day.

I always thought Blizzard considering it a non-canon release would make it wind-up never re-released.

Thank God for GOG. Wonder how much effort, time, money and legal crap it took and all to get approval from any companies that owned rights of IP's, distribution, and whatnot - which would probably be Blizzard; Sierra (or whomever got those rights); and Synergistic Software (Hellfire's dev's...or whomever held those rights there).

They make their opinion off it well know on the GOG Store:
Originally developed by Synergistic Software and released in 1997, Hellfire was not an official Blizzard product and did not carry Blizzard’s endorsement or label. Despite that, in response to Diablo players who have expressed a desire to experience the content, Blizzard has given the OK for it to be included as a free add-on with Diablo purchases on GOG.COM.

Hellfire offers a non-canonical single-player storyline where players must defeat a powerful demon named Na-Krul who is threatening Tristram. The expansion also adds a Monk class, new weapons and items, new missions, locations, dungeons, and enemies. Hellfire will be accessible while launching the original Diablo.

For $49 I'd say go buy Grim Dawn and its expansions and wait for a sale on Chaosbane.

Then go do that. *shrug*

Back in June 2017 I got a Razer Wildcat gamepad rather cheap from Newegg. The reviews of it were decent but lots of complaints about durability... Well, mine after about 2 thousand hours finally gave up the ghost.

Sometime after the launch of Forza Horizon 4 I started getting reconnect controller errors... but it was only in Forza games so I just figured it was a windows 10 game/app issue and kept play (it would reconnect seconds later.) The it started happening more often and then finally in the Division 2.

Now the Division 2 doesn't pause like the Forza games had the controller issue and the "best incident" I had my guy took off across the map (in combat of course) shooting the ceiling while doing a small circle... I'm shocked I got revived and not kicked from the group.

Anyhow, replacement was out of the question. It's long been replaced in Razers lineup with a new version but I contacted them anyways and tried to get a replacement cable... It involved way too much hoop jumping but I got a new replacement cable ordered (16 bucks shipped) and so far it's been working without issue. So I'm rather happy with that.

Div 2, I got my cosmetic event finished so I'm happy about that as it freed me up to try Warhammer: Chaosbane. I've rather enjoyed it, though looking at Steam it seems like I'm not the norm but I'll freely admit I haven't had that much time with it compared to those complaining about it... but I think my impression will hold. I am a guy you really likes Warhammer 40K Martyr. *Shrug*

Seriously. Happens every time. With the gazillion games currently available.

Its an ugly precedent. One no one in this digital age should be happy or accepting of.

That said I feel like they got the news wrong... I just don't see that happening.
