On another note, when I moved from Cali just over four years ago, I had a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge collection of movies... bordering on 2k. Decided it wasn't worth it to relocate everything, so traded in probably half to FYE (or Tower Records)... took them a week to go through everything... and gave the rest away to friends. Haven't even dreamed of purchasing a movie since with all of the streaming options. I purchased my first 4k movie, Infinity War, and watched it on my X. It looked great, but I wasn't overly impressed like I thought I would be. It seems the leap from 1080 to 4k isn't as jarring as it was from VHS to DVD or DVD to Blu. Gaming, on the other hand, is a huge difference. Anyone else notice this? Maybe I just need to do a side by side comparison.

Speaking of decision paralysis and arranging the backlog into something manageable, time for me to start doing something about mine. I'll start by adding groups with folder names like "play now," "play later," and "continuous play" or something along those lines. My problem is I want to play games but then freeze up while trying to decide what to play. I wind playing nothing, playing something in short bursts, or just watching TV.
There are some games in my backlog that can easily be knocked out in a few hours. Some of the games that will take longer to finish can wait. Sports games with career and franchise/dynasty modes would likely fall under "Continuous/Extended Play." Thanks to everyone in this thread for giving me the push I desperately needed to get going in the right direction.
Man... between the X1, PS4, Switch, Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, and Moviepass, I don't do anything but sleep on my days off :(. I did manage to make it out to two movies this week, which is the first time I've been since sometime in June. I fear that the minute I cancel any of the services, I'll want to use it again. To those of you with Hulu, I'm loving Castle Rock so far

Gamepass is amazing, especially because there have consistently been deals on it. No, I haven't played any of the games for more than 10 minutes, but if I ever decide to, it will be amazing
Gonna download and play Abzu today. Been wanting to try it out for a long time now

Its been a full release since last august, its not in game preview anymore. Excellent survival game with a good amount of content. I highly recommend it.
Game Previews are like steam early access, you pay for a game that isnt finished yet (and could end up never being finished) but you keep the game when/if its fully released.
I'm thinking of finally grabing Dying Light, yay or nay?
Dying Light is one of my favorite games this gen. I've been waiting for $15 price point to purchase and play the additional campaign content, but $18 is good enough for me. The devs still support the game all this time later by releasing new content/special patches periodically.

Finished Black Ops 3 to get rid of the disc. It was okay, wasn't a fan of the story.
Since I got that out of the backlog decided to try some gamepass games. Had a month code, turned on auto renew for another month, and had 3 chips ahoy codes so got 10 weeks for free. Installed 10 games, most of which are under 5 hours so I hope I can finish them before it's up.
I hope you didn't get rid of the disc already. The zombie "campaign" that opens after the main story is really fun IMO

I do not need Gamepass.
Yuuuuuuuuup. Was about to pull the trigger on the 6/$30 deal, but then realized I've had GP for probably 6 months already... installed maybe 10 games... and have played only one (State of Decay) for about 15 minutes in that time. That plus the fact that subs have readily been available for $5/month on this site, and I can stand to wait and purchase one month at a time if there's something I really want to play right away

Oh my gosh ps store has some deep sales. Looking at getting infamous, the order, uncharted collection, until dawn, and last of us for like 30 bucks!!
Lol... new to PS4 like me, huh?
Anyone weird like me and have a hard time finishing games they have emotional ties to? I'm having that issue with TLOU. I'm close to the end, but don't want to finish so my experience won't end. It took me almost two years to watch the final episode of LOST...

There's lots of folks here who haven't finished TLOU
On another note, what kind of game is Infamous: Second Son? I'm assuming it's open world and I can spend tons of time just killing random baddies. I'm kind of looking for a mindless time waster.
