You do realize that the PS4 destroyed the Xbox One in sales this generation and part of that reason is no variety in games, right? If you wanted to play Yakuza and Final Fantasy VII you would have bought a PS4. The people that actually buy consoles for these types of games aren't going to wait years for them to finally be ported over to Xbox. Microsoft would do better to invest money in good Japanese exclusives instead of substandard first party titles that no one wants to play. Other than Halo, Gears,a and Forza I'm willing to bet most if not all of their first party games sold below 200,000.
The Xbox One was $100 more than the PS4 and weaker.
It also had the fallout of the Xbox One reveal and DRM attached to it.
I love Japanese developed games as much as anyone but for the vast majority they are not system sellers unless it's a Nintendo IP.

Sea of Thieves has sold over 1M copies on Steam alone.
I have no doubt both Ori titles surpassed 200K and Grounded is a huge hit already.
Ryse Son of Rome & Dead Rising 3 did as well.
