I've seen very little concrete info on GamePass. The contract seems to vary from game to game, aside from bigger deals like the Yakuza or Final Fantasy arrangements. I get the impression that it is mostly lump sums for whatever period of time.

Game Pass deals are done on a case-by-case basis, but as Phil Spencer said I imagine most want money upfront.

Xbox Live to Game Pass Ultimate conversion question. Would buying 12 3-month Live subs and converting them work the same as 3 12-month subs? I guess my question is, is there a limit on the number of codes that can be entered?

There's no limit to the amount of codes you can enter, but 36 months is the max amount of Gold/Game Pass you can have on one account.

Anybody here doing the Xbox FanFest Trivia?

They didn't reveal the topics of trivia ahead of time this year so I'm not doing great.

What are you guys watching for on Black Friday this year? I am on the hunt for 2 more PS5 Controllers. Xbox wise I'll probably just stock up on credit for when games I want come out next year. If Costco has that $80 for $100 of Xbox credit ill stock up on that. I still have the $110 from the Dell deal sitting on my account at the moment. Saving that for the Black Friday digital sale that starts next week.

Gotham Knights $30 and Tales of Arise for $20.

So many retailers had GOW PS5 bundles in stock I caved and got one, so looking for Ghost of Sushi or Miles Morales to be on sale.

Not worried about the eventual Game Pass price hike since I'm still set on Game Pass until the end of 2024.

Bought three years of Gold with MS Rewards points back in 2019 to convert to GPU (When 12 month XBL Gold was a reward option so that was for like 70K points).

Since then, I got nine months of GPU for $60 as a X-Mas gift and won seven months from Xbox and Adidas along with shoes from the contest in this article.

Pac attack took me like a solid week to clear Hyper lol

 

Any tips on Pac 256 in regards to getting 10 powerups to level 8?

Other than focus on completing the optional objectives like collecting five fruits, eat 30 ghosts etc. not really.

There isn't an easy way to do it, it's just time consuming.

Pac Man Museum+ is seriously starting to make me question why I am so OCD about achievements. It's a great collection of games but the grinding is too much. What turned out to be my favorite game (Pac Man 256) has turned into a tedious slog as I spent the last month just slogging out coins to upgrade my abilities and it's taking forever.
 
Couple that with the achievement for collecting 63 different items from the vending machine and I'm ready to quit. I've resorted to playing on PC and cheating by messing with the clock to get new items and after a week of doing this I still haven't gotten all of the items from the vending machine!
I wanna just quit and move on but I can't quit, I'll be done with everything when I finish these last couple of achievements!

Yeah, that game took me almost 60 hours to 1000/1000.

Wanted to be one of the first 10 users to complete at least one title on TA, so I grinded it out.

Almost gave up doing Pac-Attack though.

You would miss out on the season passes and the two dungeons (basically mini-raids)
