It's so strange that the company fighting an uphill battle for sales has decided to wait until far after everything else is over to show what will decide their future. You already see people here becoming uinterested, and I'm sure far fewer people will watch in what is usually consider "the dead season of gaming". They also better hope that Ghost of Tsushima isn't that good, because if so, they better actually have some stuff to show or the jokes will come. What's next, theyll say that the main conference is at 8a.m./9a.m.PT? LOL. Why they didn't show their main stuff at the show in May or even have a show in June is wack.
Also, where is Kiwami 2? Werent all three supposed to be in the first half of the year? I'd expect them to eventually bring all of them over before the series X launch since Yakuza 7 is a launch title. And yes, I know the games aren't related, but it wouldn't make sense regardless if they didn't.
I'd rather Xbox take their time and put a great show together than rush out just to counter Sony's presentation.
When Xbox was dropping blog posts and info on the Series X Sony bided their time.
