Their site sucks so bad, they need to go back to the old site. In for Watch Dogs though.

Flippers, suck. I work for a living and don't need to hassle with buying and reselling video games to make a living.
That said, I got my collectors edition from amazon just fine no problems at all. I ordered a ghost edition for my nephew and he received it just fine also from amazon. Sucks for people getting damaged boxes.

Maybe, but how many of these folks are going to make the over-inflated secondary market even worse by grabbing extra copies to flip and preventing someone who just wants one at MSRP to actually play from getting one?
The same number of folks that do that in any other deal thread, flippers gonna flip.

I got one way back during the best buy sale and have loved it since the first day and haven't had an issue. I am really tempted to pick this up but hearing everyone having issues and the thought of returning it and having to ship it plus it being a refurb, I can't seem to bring myself to do it. If it were new or local again I wouldn't hesitate.

You couldn't pay me enough to play this Lightning Fantasy XIII garbage. Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XIII for a full refund.
I want classic Final Fantasy back with turn based combat / world map / airships, etc. I want the core of the series to come back, and not whatever garbage this is.
I haven't played lightning returns but the other too games I liked actually. You have to approach it knowing its not the same old turn based games and its meant to be something new. I think its almost an arcade version of an RPG which can be very interesting. I love turned based combat but having a fast action arcade style has been a fun change but not a replacement.

Just a little closure for anyone following along.
I got a tracking number last night and sure enough, a ps4 was shipped and I picked it up at work(UPS) this morning and.... it works! Plugged it in with no issues at all, played for a few hours and it ran just fine.
Not sure how amazon is going to handle the refund / exchange but it doesn't matter, if they charge back my card then recharge or just see it as an exchange its' all good.
Loving AC and KZ so far....

I see what you're saying, but it's bothersome to see them bragging about price matching, when they are strictly selective about it. I have price matched dozens of Amazon items at Target. So, it's not some ridiculous thing to expect a price match on a hot item. I didn't ask for a universal system...I'm referring to one lone, very popular deal. Let's not blow things out of proportion.
Well remember, these lone very popular deals are always used as hope to get you into their stores and maybe buy the ps4 or whatever else while you are there. When another store is asked to price match it is usually by someone with the intent on getting the sale item and that only. If someone comes in with an ad or something intending to price match they are not usually going to be buying anything else and coming out with long receipts.
Maybe target made a deal to have extra copies of ps4 games(seem to be popular in this thread), they planned to unload them at that sale cost and have stacks of them ready. Down the road at BB they may have had no clue they would need to meet the demand of giving out a Free game suddenly. BB being hesitant to price match might be just out of fear of running out of stock.
Lots of things at play.

Im sorry but I agree with the guy you quoted, its part of their policy. Otherwise every "Local" gamestore that sells games, or other outlet that does a crazy deal you can't expect them to match. And do you want them to also match newegg, gamers gate, amazon, etc? There can't be 100% price matching across the line, otherwise there's no point of competition. Not trying to be rude, but whats the point of Ads on sundays or sales? When technically what you guys are asking for is a universal price system. Each store trys to pull you into their store, enticing you to be a customer by their sales each week.
In Soviet Russia, Black Friday does Doorbusting.
