#14320249 Super Mario 3D All Stars (Physical) up for preorder

To anybody that thinks Nintendo is being greedy, anti-consumer, shady, etc. by releasing this collection with the content the way it is, keep in mind that you are not being forced or in any way obligated to buy it.

Savers always seems to have the best deals, but I've only been to a location, like, once. I'd like to go back there and Deseret Industries someday, if I ever get the chance. (I'd have to drive to Tucson, though, which is a prospect that does not excite me.)

Savers usually has the best stuff in my neck of the woods but I think that is because they tend to charge more and items stay on the shelf longer. Goodwill also tends to price video game stuff higher or they just put it on their auction site. Salvation army is the cheapest near me. I also do well with amvets

#14313472 Walmart YMMV In Store Clearance Thread I (READ THE FAQs)

Posted by DrBayrd on 11 August 2020 - 11:54 PM

This Walmart summer clearance is insanity. I seriously need to stop. I will never play any of these games!
Most of my haul was $5 each. TMNT mutants in Manhattan and Genesis classics were $7 each. Fifa 18 was 1 fn dollar!!
Most of these were behind the locked glass with incorrect price labels.

People are finding this game for $9 at Walmart on clearance. It may not come with a steelbook, but still $11 off this price.

About time my local GW finally open and found a stack of PS2 JRPGS on the shelf. Surprisingly all of the game discs were extremely mint so I couldn't pass on them. Bought all of them for $3 each. Not bad.

Nice pickup. Normally see ps2 sport games.

Fell Seal is a solid Final Fantasy Tactics-like. It seems much more polished than the Mercenaries games.

Nice score. My trip to the local amvets Was not nearly as productive.old ea sports games were sitting in stacks for $5.99 each. I did drop off a dining room table and some Christmas decorations so it wasn't a total lose. I also found some discard rubber gloves and a used condom in the parking lot.
Is that DQ VIII thicker than usual? I played through on the 3ds, I had a lot of fun with it. I thought I no longer enjoyed JRPGs after Octopath Traveler but DQVIII really hit the sweet spot for me, great writing, humor, and Jessica

Hey, I actually have something to contribute for once! Found these GameCube titles at a bookstore in southern Arizona. I understand that Fire Emblem and Baten Kaitos Origins are worth a lot of drachma...

#14280479 Is this site no longer that active?

Posted by Vinny on 12 April 2020 - 05:51 PM

I wasn’t here to catch the circuit city wave, those were still the days I bought games for MSRP at GameStop *shudder* but from what I read about that circuit city sale, it sounded insane! Like every game was pretty much $4.99??? God I wish I was a cag in those days.

It wasn't every game, but it was a huge list and lots of solid titles. I can't find the original CAG thread but I found another site that listed out many of the games. It was great because it was supposed to be a advertised sale but went live early and posted on CAG.

https://forum.dvdtal...y-stores-2.html

I remember picking up some Mario Party and RE games on the GameCube, some others that I can't remember. I spent ~$44 on 8 games (was a kid in HS, and had no job), getting home and remembering the rush of getting 8... fucking... games... for $40. Looking at that list now, there were some MAJOR games that I skipped... Skies of Arcadia, Ikaruga. That was also when I started keeping new games sealed until I actually played them. I think it was Mario Party that I never got around to opening and year or two later, sold it on eBay for $50 or something because the game was out of print since Mario Party 5 and 6 were already out and I was like "holy shit, why do I open games before I play them?".

I bought from the B2G2 free sale:

Contra 4 (DS)

Fallout New Vegas: Ultimate Edition (PS3)

Kirby: Super Star Ultra (DS)

Mega Man ZX (DS)

Mega Man ZX Advent (DS)

Nier (PS3)

Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon (DS)

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of The Year Edition (PS3)

I decided to get Mega Man ZX and Mega Man ZX Advent for the DS since I already have Mega Man Zero Collection for the DS.

My first post. Found this today @ savers. $200 out the door.

27 games, 2 turntables 2 guitars, one complete wii console, balance board, 2 controllers 1 nunchuck, tony hawk skateboard & misc crap. Not bad. There’s about 17 games that are worth keeping or not games that I already have.

Edit: apparently need 3 post before pics. Stay tuned
