FFX and X-2 are next on my list and I just got copies in the mail, so I won't be waiting for the HD versions

 

I wonder how bad these are going to look on my HDtv...

Having recently beaten FFX (for like the 20th time!) and started FFX-2, I can say that they look pretty bad on an HD TV. Not unplayable, mind you, but some textures and landscapes just look like diarrhea.

be essentially meaningless, it was an OK issue. It has a better start than Avengers vs X-Men and Flashpoint, but it lacks the conviction that Civil War and Blackest Night had. Ivan Reis once again shows us why he is one of the best pencilers in the business, though I think the scope of the script really hinders his work in some areas that he is forced to put so much shit on one page or panel. And where are the Justice League Dark? That is a travesty in and of itself considering it has been the most consistent JL title.

 

But if we want to talk comics, Young Avengers and Hawkeye easily win this week. Such amazing writing.

Will she really get over it, though?

Also, I wish I could talk dem fighting games, but I'll be at an Evo watching party, so yeah. 

I still stand by my opinion that Blade 2 and Hellboy 2 are Del Toro's best English films. Pan's Labyrinth is on a whole other level from everything else he has done.

I posted my thoughts on Super in the movie thread, but I will sum it up here. Drastic tonal changes in any sort of medium, especially movies, is not a good thing. It starts off comical, weird and outlandish which is all amazing, but then it starts getting incredibly serious. Way too serious to consider it better than Kick Ass. Kick Ass blended everything nicely.

 

I'd also just like to toss out that I hated the Kick Ass comic, but loved the movie. That might be because of Matthew Vaughan.

 

And Boltie isn't dead. The Crimson Bolt took her to the Lazarus Pits. That is how the movie really ended.

What the am I doing playing Fable 3. There are much better things I could possibly be doing with my time. Like writing Boltie fan fiction.

You unlock down attacks around levels 15-20 for most groups. I have yet to unlock an up attack, yet.

I'll be starting Last of Us pretty soon after I finish up Remember Me (which I am actually enjoying, mostly for the fantastic characters, narrative and world).

Quina is as awesome as FFX. Meaning, yeah, she is amazing. I think I primarily used Zidane, Garnet, Steiner and Vivi (Magic Sword is pretty damn good). I had a soft spot for Freya until I needed Garnet in my party.

Leda looks good with freckles. She looks good like that.
