sakes, the Iceborne update is bigger than MHW basegame plus everything else I’ve downloaded for the game combined.
Whoa, thanks for the heads up. (Shakes fist at my puny 500gig HD)

I got this the other day, for $30 its a steal imho.
Its the size of a small encyclopedia and has a fair amount of weight. Comes in a protective sleeve / case. This was one of my first book purchases from them, and was really surprised at how nice it was.
That said, just a fair warning it's more of a game guide then say a lore book. Has maps, item locations and descriptions, as well as all the text of all the npcs. If I was playing through the series this would be an amazing to have for reference.

I wonder how many people that claim they have the USB incompatibility issue, just have their files improperly structured.
Between multiple tutorial videos saying something like "extract to its own folder" while showing the files listed in one titled with the latest version of the program I almost ended up ordering a new thumbdrive until one last video showed the proper setup.
By any chance would you have the link to that specific tutorial? I had grabbed one to be a cheap mod project and would find the info useful. Thanks for the heads up regarding this.

It's funny that you mention that. I bought the Switch version with GCU from Best Buy because I wanted the Metalpak bonus. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. Either return it or return the bundle since the Switch version is highly inferior.
I'm sure you're already aware of this but the steelbook has a decent resale value. (Assuming you are referring to the exclusive steelbook, it's a really nice looking bonus)
You might be able to return without the steelbook (no idea) but if not you should be able to get at least $20 for the steelbook alone on ebay, if it's in decent shape.
Edit: (I'm assuming the switch version also came with the steelbook that the ps4 and xbox versions had, if not my bad.)

Bloodstained is at a good deal atm too.
I wound up grabbing it from a local target. Figure it will go cheaper eventually but at this price I don't mind. Would of prefered to grab the switch version if it wasn't so borked.
Didn't realize it's only 20 hours long, which works out as I should hopefully be able to beat it and trade / sell it used for close to what I paid.

How hard is Hollow Knight? Does it play well with just the joycons?
I've been playing it with the Joy-cons (portable mode) with little issue, though I'm only a few hours into the game.
I'm sure it's not ideal, but serviceable.

GET $75 EXTRA TRADE CREDIT TOWARD
NEW 2DS XL WHEN YOU TRADE YOUR NEW 3DS.
Seems the wording for the offer on gamestop.com has changed.
GET $75 TRADE CREDIT TOWARD NEW 2DS XL
Since it no longer says "Extra" does that mean we are only getting the $75 flat or is it a bonus credit to equal the $150 price of the new 2ds xl? Cause if the former FFF that noise.

I was hoping Nier Automata or a Final Fantasy 14 Complete Edition was on there but see neither locally. Do see Final Fantasy Stormblood just not the Complete Edition. I need that one because I never played the base game.
@deuce985
If you are willing to risk a purchase from a cd key site you should be able to get the base game for $10'ish. If I recall the demo allows to level 35 and unlimited gametime?
@tylerdurdan10 Good luck, you could always ask Groupon support but if its their payment gateway / processor that is the issue they may be next to useless. Perhaps they may have some idea whats causing the error?

Been having a heck of a time redeeming a second Google express code.
Tried different browsers, cleared cache (but not before trying different accounts, so if cookies would have still be listed) tried multiple Google accounts, different credit cards with different names on them.. everytime I get a "This promo cannot be used for this item"
To test I tried three different transactions; a Raspberry pi 3, some random frys gaming items and olive oil. Any ideas on what the issue could be aside from user error (lol)?
Think the next step will be to have a friend try on his pc (though on the same work ip) if that fails I'll try Groupon support.
Turns out it was user error (not surprised). The codes are tied to the email they were purchased on as per Google Express support. (IDK about gift purchases) Even though I purchased with email X (and double checked the email thats is registered to the groupon account) it somehow got tied to a completely separate email. Now that I know the email it's tied to I'll try using it next week when I get paid.
Alright, this is REALLY getting frustrating. I've tried 5 DIFFERENT credit cards, including ones from other people, multiple Groupon accounts & I STILL can't purchase a 2nd coupon! WTF!!!
Is this somehow tied to your IP address or physical home address? Has anybody else been successful in buying 2 coupons (using the same computer/IP address & home address)?
I had that happen last week, not sure what the cause was. I gave up and tried from a work ip and didn't have any issue. Seemed like an issue with the payment processer not liking any of the cards I was using, then again from a different ip the next day it worked fine.
Just to check have people been having to use a different card for each Google express purchase? I really could use some pc parts from Fry's (Mobo, low end GPU, RAM).

Nice, even exchange for New 3DXL towards 2DXL ($150 TIV.)
Say whaaat? I was hoping this would occur as I'd love to get a nice shiny new 2ds. Forgive the ignorance but I'm not seeing this mentioned on the gamestop flyer or via trade in values, where are you seeing this info?
Edit1: Nevermind I am blind.
GET $75 EXTRA TRADE CREDIT TOWARD
Edit2: "Also, anyone else pick up Horizon Zero Dawn? Since it went down I thought it was a good time to get it."
I wound up grabbing used off Amazon for 20. (Was $25 and had a $5 credit) Delivery date July 21st but I couldn't say no at that price.

Lurker turned poster just wanted to say thanks to (EDIT) The people who put time and effort into the thread. The FAQ was amazingly useful!
Taking my stash of old ps4 games I was able to turn 40 - 60 in trade value to 120. Then turned that into 300 - 400 depending on how trade values go tomorrow. This will allow me to pay for the games I have been wanting but could not justify the purchase at this time due to bills.
I don't know the last time I ran afoul of a junior detective, but that's where the problems generally start. As I've said before, being polite, kind, and not rubbing your profits in their faces goes a long way.
I think this is pretty solid advice in general for most things in life. Every cashier I dealt with was cool, and even if they were not or had denied my trade it would not be valid reason to be crappy to them. I'd say thanks for your time and go to the next store. These people make jack squat, have to deal with the public, and have corporate up their ass to hit metrics. The job is hard enough as it is and being kind costs nothing.
